Obituary: David A. Brock

November 8, 1961 – March 1, 2020

David A. Brock, 58, of Williams, passed away unexpectedly at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, 2020, at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital.

Born November 8, 1961, in South Bend, IN, he was the son of Willie Dale and Margaret Esther (Gaither) Brock. He retired as a welder for Manchester Tank. He was a past member of the Bedford Moose Lodge, and a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation, the Rocky Mountain Elk Federation, and U.A.W. Local #440.

Survivors include a son, Landon Brock, and wife, Kearstan, of Williams; four grandchildren, Joey Brock, Dimitri Brock, Killian Brock, and Klarissa Brock; his mother, Margaret Brock; a sister, Rene’ Brock, of Williams; brothers, William Brock, and wife, Stella, and Jack Brock and wife, Jennifer,
all of Williams; five nieces and nephews, John Norris and wife, Jennifer, of Williams, Bobbie Clower, and husband, Caleb, of Marion, Willie Brock, and wife, Sydney, of Bedford, Korey Brock, and wife, Sara, of Bloomington, Whittey Bilek and husband, Pat, of Williams.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be conducted at Noon on Friday, March 6th at the Fayetteville Baptist Church with Pastor Kenny Walden officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Regular Baptist Cemetery in Silverville.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 5th at the Fayetteville Baptist Church.
