ISP Bloomington Post Accepting Applications for Receptionist

(BLOOMINGTON) – The Indiana State Police is accepting applications for a Receptionist position at the Bloomington Post to serve as a civilian employee.

This position is primarily responsible for effectively answering and routing incoming calls to the proper individual. The position also assists the Post Commander with notifications and “short notice messages”.

A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required as well as the ability to successfully pass a department typing test. Applicants must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing and must have the ability to operate and maintain office equipment to include a computer, printer, and copy and fax machines.

Pay starts at $25,766 per year and the position includes health benefits.
