DNR Forestry Open Houses

(UNDATED) – The Department of Natural Resources Division of Forestry will host open houses at many of its locations Wednesday and Thursday.

During the events, division personnel will detail how the division works to protect forests and take input and suggestions regarding the development of its next five-year strategic direction.

An open house will be held Wednesday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Morgan-Monroe and Yellowwood state forests.

Open houses will be offered from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday at the Martin State Forest and Greene-Sullivan State Forest, the Owen-Putnam State Forest; the Ferdinand and Pike state Forests, Harrison-Crawford State Forest.

The strategic plan will focus on all aspects of Indiana forests, including urban forests, forests on private lands, forests on public lands and nursery production.
