(INDIANAPOLIS) – On Monday, March 9 the Marion County Judicial Selection Committee will conduct interviews of the 13 incumbent trial court judges seeking retention.
The interviews will take place in Room 319 of the State House in Indianapolis.
The interviews are open to the public, and the schedule is as follows (all times are EDT):
- 9 a.m. – 9:20 a.m.: Judge Elizabeth Ann Christ
- 9:25 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.: Judge David Certo
- 9:50 a.m. – 10:10 a.m.: Judge Cynthia Ayers
- 10:15 a.m. – 10:35 a.m.: Judge Marc Rothenberg
- 10:35 a.m. – 10:55 a.m.: Break
- 10:55 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.: Judge Shatrese Flowers
- 11:20 a.m. – 11:40 a.m.: Judge Kurt Eisgruber
- 11:45 a.m. – 12:05 p.m.: Judge Marcel Pratt
- 12:05 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.: Lunch
- 1:15 p.m. – 1:35 p.m.: Judge Christina Klineman
- 1:40 p.m. – 2 p.m.: Judge Timothy Oakes
- 2:05 p.m. – 2:25 p.m.: Judge Angela Davis
- 2:30 p.m. – 2:50 p.m.: Break
- 2:55 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.: Judge James Osborn
- 3:20 p.m. – 3:40 p.m.: Judge Patrick Dietrick
- 3:45 p.m. – 4:05 p.m.: Judge Gary Miller

- 4:30 p.m.: Executive Session begins
During its February 12 meeting, the Selection Committee unanimously agreed to conduct the interviews in a single day, followed by an Executive Session in which members will consider the candidates for retention as required by IC 33-33-49-13.1(q).
The Executive Session may need to carry over to the following day. If needed, the additional session would begin at 9 a.m. (EDT) on March 10.
Once the Executive Session concludes (either March 9 or 10) the members will vote in a public session.
Members of the audience are asked to refrain from activities that might distract from the interview process. Questioning of the judges is reserved for the Committee.
