Peggy J. Blevins, 69, of Mitchell passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2020, at 5:35 p.m. at the IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington.
She was born on July 22, 1950, in Orange County to John Henry Moore and Dorothy (Kimmel) Moore. Peggy married Daniel Blevins on April 6, 1973, and he survives. Peggy worked at PTG in Mitchell and Otis Elevator in
Bloomington.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel Blevins of Mitchell, her mother, Dorothy Moore of Paoli, children, Christina Pierce of Jasper, Cathy Sue Kemper of Bedford and John Eugene Blevins of Fredericksburg, ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, two brothers, James Moore of Loogootee, Tim Moore of Mitchell, two sisters, Veronica Mathis of Arkansas, and Nancy Spencer of Paoli.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Henry Moore, one sister, Mary Jones and one brother, Tom Moore.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at 1 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home, visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home on Saturday, February 1, 2020.
