  • 7:23 a.m. 911 call in the 100 block of Rolling Meadow Road. It was an accidental call
  • 7:23 a.m. Medical emergency in the 810 block of Clark Smith Road. A 34-year-old male was unconscious

  • 8:41 a.m. Fire at the Dollar Tree in Mitchell. Smoke was coming from a light fixture. Mitchell Fire Department responded

  • 10:32a.m. A person was on station to report a package was taken off their porch in the 5130 block of Old Farm Road. The homeowner has a video of the theft
  • 11:07 a.m. Request for animal control to the 20 block of Maple Ridge Road for a stray cat
  • 11:24 a.m. Medical emergency in the 900 block of Rariden Hill. A 78-year-old was unconscious
  • 12:49 p.m. Animal control was requested to Erie Church Road. The caller was complaining about the neighbor’s dogs 
  • 12:54 p.m. Lift assist in the 400 block of Tanyard Road
  • 1:34 p.m. Request for animal control to the 7240 block of Tunnelton Road. Two dogs were taken to the humane society

  • 6:08 p.m. Traffic stop in the 4880 block of State Road 37. Two were detained after police found drugs
  • 6:13 p.m. Controlled fire in the 2000 block of Logan Donica Road
  • 6:19 p.m. Request for a welfare check on two women changing a tire at State Road 37 and Old State Road 37
  • 6:49 p.m. Report of an injured deer in the 490 block of Mount Pleasant Road. The deer was put down
  • 7:04 pm. A resident in the 1310 block of East Oolitic Road was on station to report that someone hacked into his payroll direct deposit and wants to file a report

  • 7:08 p.m. Request for animal control to the 70 block of Jaye Lane for a brown lab that came onto his property and bit his dog

  • 8:35 pm. Alarm sounding in the 3140 block of Fleenor Road. The building was secure
  • 8:42 p.m. Officers made extra patrols in the 930 block of South 9th Street in Mitchell. The caller says there is a large amount of foot traffic in the alley and the dogs have been barking all night. Police found no problem

  • 9:41 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and 16th streets
  • 9:54 p.m. Disabled vehicle at Washboard Road and State Road 37
  • 9:55 p.m. A resident in the 180 block of Riggle Road reported his neighbor pulled in front of his home and started yelling at him about him spotlighting his house. The caller says the male put his car in park and then the caller told him that it would not be a good idea if he got out of his vehicle. The male is no longer at the caller’s home. But wanted to report the incident because he has had problems with this male in the past. The male then called back and said the neighbor is threatening him and he heard gunshots coming from the residence. Police spoke to the neighbor and a no-trespass order was issued

  • 10:03 p.m. Report of an injured deer in the roadway at Gas Line and Washboard roads. The deer was put down
  • 10:33 p.m. 911 call reporting a domestic fight at Fifth and J streets
  • 10:40 p.m. Agency assist at State Road 37 and Dixie Highway

  • 12:49 a.m. Agency assist on a traffic stop with Indiana State Police at State Road 37 and Dixie Highway
  • 12:49 a.m. Report of a black truck parked partially in the road in the 6200 block of State Road 60 West. The owner moved the truck
  • 1:06 a.m. 911 call in the 8060 block of Suddarthlin Road. The caller was attempting to report a medical emergency in the Valparaiso. Indiana State Police were alerted
  • 1:19 a.m. Alarm sounding in the 5000 block of State Road 37 at Crossroads Church. There was no problem

  • 3:30 p.m. Property damage accident at State Road 60 East and Stephens Street
  • 6:17 p.m. Property damage accident with a vehicle leaving the scene in the 1500 block of State Road 158. A driver in a red minivan crossed the center line struck her vehicle and fled the scene
  • 6:20 p.m. Property damage accident in the 500 block of Woodhill Lane
