  • 6:16 p.m. Garlander Miller, 39, Branchville, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, habitual traffic offender

Incidents – Dec. 17

  • 5:01 a.m. A resident at Persimmon Park Apartments complained about noise. The caller says a night crew is working in the apartment of above him and making noise all night long. Police say there was no issue and the caller needed to take up the issue with the manager
  • 5:55 a.m. Report of a tree across the roadway blocking both lanes of Blanton Road
  • 6:10 a.m. 911  call in the 780 block of Trinton Circle. It was an accidental call
  • 9:23 a.m. Alarm in the 2040 block of Seiboldt Quarry Road. It was a false alarm
  • 9:59 a.m Request for animal control on South I Street near Sunny Acres Drive
  • 10:23 a.m. Citizen assist over a dispute between a landlord and tenant
  • 12:19 p.m. Request for animal control to the 3500 block of Pinhook Road. The neighbor’s dogs are loose and eating his cat’s food and he wants to shoot the dog. The owners of the dog were told to contain the dog
  • 12:25 p.m. Traffic stop at Old State Road 37 at the dumpster site
  • 12:41 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 3820 block of Erie Church Road
  • 12:49 p.m. Report of an aggressive stray dog in the 2700 block of Fleenor Road. The dog was taken to the shelter
  • 12:50 p.m. A resident in the 1690 block of Pumphouse Road requested to speak to an officer about fraud
  • 12:52 p.m. A male from the 1240 block of Dive Road was on station to report fraud
  • 12:54 p.m. Request for animal control to the 3100 block of Mount Pleasant Road. The neighbor’s St Bernard is running lose all the time. Officers were unable to find the dog and one neighbor said the dog was not his
  • 1:01 p.m. Report of a black horse walking down the roadway on State Road 54 and Phillips Lane in Springville
  • 1:37 p.m. 911 call reporting an erratic driver on State Road 37 at Orleans
  • 1:44 p.m. Report of animal control in the 450 block of Sherwood Road. The neighbor’s dog is running loose again. The owner was told to contain the dog
  • 1:47 p.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 170 block of Sunny Slopes Circle. Two males are going door to door wanting to do home improvement repairs. Police were unable to find the males 
  • 1:52 p.m. Tree limb in the roadways in the 410 block of Rolling Meadows Road 
  • 2:24 p.m. A male in the 320 block of Heltonville Road was on station to report credit card fraud
  • 2:37 p.m. Citizen assist in the 80 block of State Road 60 East. A male has taken her car and debit card and son’s phone. The male told police he didn’t have the items and that the female who reported the incident is living with him and is there now. Police told the woman how to proceed
  • 2:38 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a silver Jeep Liberty at State Road 37 and Stevens Lane
  • 2:43 p.m. Warrant service at the jail
  • 2:53 p.m. Report of drug items found in the 3150 block of Fleenor Road. The items were collected and destroyed
  • 3:01 p.m. Officers were out with a vehicle at State Road 37 and Stevens Lane
  • 3:02 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1300 block of K Street. A 76-year-old female fell
  • 3:07 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a red SUV on Dixie Highway and State Road 37 near the dealerships
  • 3:20 p.m. EMS was placed on stand by for Orange County
  • 3:36 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1110 block of West Oak Street. An 82-year-old female was ill
  • 3:40 p.m. Request for animal control to the 10 block of Overlook Drive for two dogs coming on her property and harassing her cats
  • 3:59 p.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 210 block of Judah Logan Road. A male is going door to door with a clipboard. Police say the male works  for Unique Home Solutions

  • 4:27 p.m. Agency assist in the 9740 block of State Road 37. A male was arrested on a warrant
  • 4:31 p.m. Police made extra patrols in the 1320 block of Meridian Road after finding a syringe on his property near his mailbox
  • 4:51 p.m. Medical emergency in the 20 block of P Street. An 80-year-old was ill
  • 4:51 p.m. Theft reported at the Dollar Store on US 50 East. The female left in a blue vehicle westbound on US 50. The employee witnessed the woman place the stolen items in her purse. No charges were filed
  • 5:06 p.m. 911 call hang up in the 1100 block of Sunny Acres Drive. It was a child
  • 5:21 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a white Grand AM northbound on State Road 37 and Washboard Road. A person is hanging out the window and screaming
  • 5:42 p.m. Officers were out with a vehicle at State Road 58 East and State Road 37. Bedford Police assisted on the scene
  • 5:59 p.m. Police made extra patrols at Pride Estates
  • 6:16 p.m. Medical emergency in the 3010 block of Old Vincennes Road. Ten minutes ago a male in his driveway with the engine off but his lights on. The caller asked the male if he was okay and he said his car overheated. The male finally left and unsure where he went. A second caller reported the vehicle was in his driveway in the 2770 block of Old Vincennes Road and the driver may be passed out. Police located the vehicle and male who was transported to IU Health Hospital 
  • 6:19 p.m. Traffic stop at the Marathon station on State Road 37
  • 6:36 p.m. 911 call in the 1920 block of Norton Lane. The caller is following her ex-husband who is transporting their four kids and that two of the kids are not in the car seats.
  • 7:19 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a female in the 100 block of The Woods. Family members have not heard from her for a week. The female is fine and has been having phone issues and will call her family as soon as possible
  • 9:51 p.m. Traffic stop in the 8800 block of State Road 37

  • 1:51 a.m. Repossession in the 11120 block of Golden Park Road in Martin County
  • 2 a.m. 911 call in the 300 block of Windsor Drive. Police say the male is intoxicated and doesn’t know what he is doing
  • 2:17 a.m. Request for animal control to Sieboldt Quarry Road and Gas Line Road for a cattle in the roadway
