Bloomington Parks and Recreation’s Kid City Winter Break Days

(BLOOMINGTON) – Kid City Break Days present summer-style fun when Monroe County Community School Corporation school is out for break.

Break Days take place at the Allison-Jukebox Community Center, 351 S. Washington St. in Bloomington. Break Day hours are 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Children should be dropped off by 8:30 a.m. and can be picked up beginning at 4 p.m.

Kids enrolled in Break Days stay active all day with games, field trips, skits and songs, and more.

Break Days are for children in grades K through 6. Registration fee is $40 per student per day (Bloomington residents) or $45 per student per day (out-of-city residents). The registration fee includes daily snacks and transportation on field trips, but each child should bring his or her own lunch each day.

Online registration is not available for Break Days.

Break Days are inclusive, serving camp-ready children with and without disabilities. Reasonable accommodation requests must be made at least two weeks prior to the registration deadline –Download and fill out a request for reasonable accommodation.

Scholarships for Break Days are available through the Bloomington Parks Foundation. The deadline to apply for Break Days scholarships is one week prior to the registration deadline – Download and fill out an application for a youth scholarship.
