    8:25 p.m. Shawn Browning, 62, 536 Patton Hill Rd., operating a vehicle while intoxicated, OWI endangerment

  • 11:54 a.m. Kristal Gifford, 42, Springville, leaving the scene of an accident, operating a vehicle without a license,
  • 1:23 p.m. Tracy Heavrin, 42, Indianapolis, theft

  • 7:58 a.m. Vandalism in the 1310 block of Trogdon Lane
  • 8:02 a.m. Animal control requested to the 3470 block of Steeple Chase Road for a horse and donkey running loose. The owner lives on South I Street
  • 9:09 a.m. Items were stolen from a vehicle in the 560 block of Sunny Acres Drive. Clothes and Shoes were stolen
  • 9:17 a.m. 911 call hangup. The caller then called back and said it was an accidental call
  • 9:32 a.m. Medical emergency in the 130 block of Main Street in Mitchell. A 65-year-old male fell.
  • 9:41 a.m. Child custody issue in the 10040 block of US 50 West. The caller’s soon to be ex-husband has damaged her vehicle while they were doing a custody exchange
  • 10:55 a.m. Domestic fight on Coxton Road. The mother of a juvenile reported the juvenile got in trouble at school on Friday and they took the daughter’s phone as punishment.  Now she has two other phones she got from friends and when they tried to take those phones the juvenile went “crazy” and began hitting and kicking his pregnant mother and his father. Police spoke with all involved and told the girl if they return she will be charged
  • 11:33 a.m. Request for animal control to the 7550 block of State Road 60 West for a dog running loose
  • 12:48 p.m. Request for animal control to West Main Street and North 8th Street. The caller says he saw a dog trying to mate with a cat. The caller drove the cat to Mitchell Police Department and is requesting an officer to come get the cat.
  • 1:18 p.m. Controlled fire in the 1140 block of Woodsferry Road 1:18 p.m. Medical emergency in the 610 block of Earl Road. A male was suffering chest pains
  • 1:29 p.m. Request for animal control to the 370 block of Poplar Trail in Springville for horses running loose again
  • 1:30 p.m. Controlled fire in the 1320 block of Beaver Creek Road
  • 2:08 p.m. Controlled fire in the 470 block of Woodville Road
  • 2:42 p.m. Information report was taken on station. A male reported he lost his keys. He is unsure where they went missing. They were last seen in the console of his vehicle. The keys are to his employment and church. He says his wife and him were in a dispute and she may have taken them.
  • 3:04 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a white GMC pickup at State Road 54 and Reuter Lane
  • 3:42 p.m. 911 call at the Budget Inn. The caller says her daughter possibly overdosed 
  • 4:11 p.m. A woman was at the Mitchell Police Department to report a 20-year-old male is missing and she has not heard or seen him for more than 30 hours. Area hospitals and jails were contacted and officers went to several homes in an attempt to locate the male. At 4:29 p.m. police made contact with the male and he was okay but would not tell police where he was
  • 4:16 p.m. 911 call reporting an erratic driver on State Road 50 East. 
  • 4:26 Request for animal control to the 690 block of Tripleton Pike for a white and tan pit bull on the caller’s porch. The dog is friendly but appears to have been in a fight and has injuries to his head and leg.
  • 4:37 p.m. Disabled vehicle in the 12000 block of State Road 450. A female in a car is unable to make it up the hill 4:42 p.m. Agency assist in the 100 block of South Woodview Court in Monroe County for a flue fire. Firefighters then disregarded the call
  • 4:46 p.m. Disabled vehicle at State Road 37 and Woodville Road. A vehicle slid off into the median
  • 4:48 p.m. Disabled vehicle on US 50 and State Road 37. A vehicle slid off the side of the road
  • 4:49 p.m. 911 call requesting a welfare check on a male at Cambridge Square
  • 4:53 p.m. Disabled vehicle on Oolitic bridge. A vehicle is stuck and unable to move on the bridge
  • 5 p.m. County-wide volunteer fire department radio test
  • 5:05 p.m. Agency assist on US 50 East and Back Creek Road
  • 5:05 p.m. Disabled vehicle at East Oolitic Road at the bridge. A vehicle is stuck on the road
  • 5:44 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1620 block of L Street
  • 5:48 p.m. Request for a welfare check on an elderly male in the 960 block of Stevens Street. The male was fine
  • 6:01 p.m. 911 call on Old State Road 37 and East Harding Place in Monroe County. A car was on fire
  • 6:18 p.m. Child custody dispute in the 170 block of Hert Hollow Lane. The children’s father said he would bring the children to the station to do the exchange but then changed his mind and would drop them off at their grandmother’s home on Coxton Road
  • 6:24 p.m. Unwanted pers0n in the 970 block of Newby Street. A female attempted to push his way into a female’s home. The female is on the front porch. The female was gone when police arrived
  • 6:38 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1330 block of Maul Ridge Road. An 88-year-old was having trouble breathing
  • 6:45 p.m. Medical emergency in the 910 block of Lawrence Street. A 21-year-old was having trouble breathing
  • 7:03 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at Storage Express
  • 7:03 p.m. 911 call in Jackson County. Jackson County Sheriff’s Department was alerted
  • 7:07 p.m. 911 call reporting a truck off the road on US 50 East at Rumpke. Jackson County Sheriff’s Department alerted
  • 7:20 p.m. 911 call reporting a car off the roadway on US 50 East at Rumpke. Jackson County Sheriff’s Department responded
  • 7:44 p.m. Disabled vehicle at Rockwood Drive and Sand Pit Road
  • 7:59 p.m. 911 call in Jackson County. Jackson County Sheriff’s Department was alerted

  • 11:22 p.m. Fire in the first block of East Martin Lane. At 11:46 p.m. the caller said the fire was out
