The crash occurred on I-69 northeast of the 92.5 mile marker in eastern Greene County at 12:03 p.m. on Wednesday, December 11th.

According to ISP Sgt. Curt Durnil, a Dodge pickup truck traveled across the paved median crossing the southbound lanes of the interstate. The truck then continued off the north side of the road and went down an embankment at an angle. The truck went through a ditch and continued traveling northeast at an angle. The truck then traveled up a steep embankment before rolling down the embankment and coming to stop in the ditch.

The female driver was partially ejected from the truck and died at the scene.
