Springville Woman Injured in Accident

(BEDFORD) – A Springville woman was injured after her vehicle was struck in the rear on Wednesday afternoon on 5th Street at Lincoln Avenue.

According to a Bedford Police Department report, 36-year-old Brandi Williams was stopped at the stoplight at 5th Street when her 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix was struck in the rear by a 2008 Pontiac G6 driven by 24-year-old Ryan Reynolds, of Bedford.

Reynolds told police he did not see Williams’ car stop and thinks he may have fallen asleep for a minute due to the lack of sleep and struck the car in the rear.

Williams complained of neck pain and was taken by ambulance to IU Health Bedford Hospital for treatment. Reynolds was not injured during the incident.
