  • 11:45 a.m. Nicole Burnette, 34, Springville, wanted on a warrant for failure to appear
  • 11:45 a.m. Courtney Omullane, 33, Bloomington, wanted on a warrant for petition to revoke

Incidents – Dec. 8

  • 6:23 a.m. Officers made extra patrols in the 2600 block of Stonington Road. The caller reported someone was in the neighbor’s bushes and when the caller yelled a male ran off. This has happened a couple of times this week. Police will make extra patrols
  • 8:41 a.m. Traffic stop at Fifth and East Main streets in Mitchell. A K-9 alerted officers to drugs in the vehicle. Drugs were found and a male was arrested
  • 9:51 a.m. Citizen assist in the 520 block of Sipes Branch Road
  • 10:27 a.m. Controlled fire in the 120 block of Yockey Road
  • 10:28 a.m. Traffic stop in the 4200 block of US 50 East. A citation as issued for speeding
  • 10:31 a.m. Medical emergency in the 1510 block of Trogdon Lane at the church. A 58-year-old fell. The person suffered a head injury
  • 10:52 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Woodville Road
  • 10:58 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols in the 2690 block of Williams Road
  • 11:03 a.m. Alarm sounding in the 10 block of Empire Lane. It was a false alarm
  • 11:06 a.m. Medical emergency in the 1810 block of 26th Street. A person was unconscious
  • 11:10 a.m. Traffic stop at Grissom Avenue
  • 11:15 a.m. Medical emergency in the 910 block of West Main Street. A 38-year-old was suffering a seizure
  • 11:27 a.m. A male was on station reporting he was involved in a domestic fight and was injured by another male
  • 11:46 a.m. Controlled fire in the 1740 block Todd Lane
  • 12:45 p.m. Controlled fire in the 1320 block of Beaver Creek Road
  • 1:07 p.m. A resident in the 4020 block of State Road 58 East reported a male is on Hospice and has terminal cancer and he attempted to end his life using the family’s gun. The nurse would like the gun removed from the home. All the guns in the home were removed and given to another family member
  • 1:47 p.m. Lift assist in the 402 of State Road 58 East. A male has fallen out of bed
  • 1:50 p.m. Report of two erratic drivers on two motorcycles on State Road 37 at Old State Road 37
  • 2:04 p.m. Domestic fight in the 200 block of Hayes Road. The male says his ex-wife had locked the doors and he has a court order to retrieve his belongings
  • 2:12 p.m. Vandalism in the 290 block of Sasser Drive. A door was damaged. Whoever damaged the door was unable to make entry. Police will make extra patrols
  • 2:16 p.m. 911 call in the 780 block of Maple Leaf Road. It was an accidental all
  • 2:19 p.m. Controlled fire in the 1620 block of Beaver Creek Road
  • 2:39 p.m. Controlled fire in the 270 block of Patricia Lane
  • 2:48 p.m. 911 call hangup in the 230 lock of Steeple Point. It was an accidental call
  • 3:08 p.m. Wildfire in the first block of East Martin Lane. A tree was on fire. Shawswick Volunteer Fire Department responded
  • 3:29 p.m. Battery reported in the jail
  • 4:02 p.m. Citizen dispute in the 4550 block of Bartlettsville Road. The call says she bought a storage unit on O Street in an auction and it was her father’s neighbor’s and now they are demanding the items inside. She offered to sell them back to them for $100 but they are refusing to pay that.
  • 4:22 p.m. Child custody dispute in the 1000 block of Main Street in Mitchell. The caller says her ex-boyfriend is refusing to give her their child back. There is no court order for visitation
  • 5 p.m. County-wide Volunteer Fire Department radio test
  • 5:10 p.m. 911 call hangup at Mitchell Manor. It was an accidental call
  • 5:17 p.m. Report of a large piece of steel in the middle of the road on State Road 37 at the river bridge. The motorist that reported this struck the metal and it caused minor damage to his vehicle
  • 5:49 p.m. Threats reported in the 260 block of Greenhill Addition Road. The caller says their teenage son is walking around the house threatening bodily harm to family members. The teen was arrested.
  • 5:59 p.m. Controlled fire in the 2000 block of Logan Donica Road
  • 5:04 p.m. Controlled fire in the 1360 block of State Road 158
  • 6:14 p.m. Medical emergency in the 710 block of Curry Street. An 84-year-old person was ill
  • 6:18 p.m. 911 call in the 1330 block of First Street. Bedford Police were alerted
  • 6:22 p.m. Citizen assist in the 220 block of Tarry Park Lane. The caller says her neighbor is being rude and saying vulgar things. The verbal dispute was between the caller and the caller’s neighbor who is the caller’s boyfriend’s ex-wife who lives next door.
  • 6:23 p.m. Lift assist in the 200 block of Hancock Avenue. A male fell while being transfered to a couch.
  • 6:24 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37, north of the Oolitic light
  • 7:23 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a red Dodge southbound on State Road 37 from Needmore
  • 7:28 p.m. Officers made extra patrols at Farmers Market on US 50 East. There was a domestic fight between a male and female outside of the store about an hour ago and the male is still sitting outside in his dark-colored SUV. The vehicle was gone when police arrived.
  • 7:23 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a red Dodge southbound on State Road 37 from Needmore
  • 7:28 p.m. Officers made extra patrols at Farmers Market on US 50 East. There was a domestic fight between a male and female outside of the store about an hour ago and the male is still sitting outside in his dark-colored SUV. The vehicle was gone when police arrived.
  • 7:35 p.m. Car/deer accident at Sand Pit Road and County Complex Road
  • 7:48 p.m. A teen was transported to the Johnson County Juvenile Detention Center
  • 7:54 p.m. 911 call in the 920 block of Fifth Street. Bedford Police were alerted
  • 8:43 p.m. Traffic stop at US 50 East and Tunnelton Road
  • 9:33 p.m. Report of a juvenile problem in the 360 block of Anderson Road. The caller is requesting an officer to assist with the caller’s 17-year-old daughter. She is currently with a friend and is refusing to come home. The father is at the friend’s home. The teen was returned to her father. The homeowner became verbally combative and was advised and told to go back inside the home. No charges were filed at this time. Juvenile probation was alerted
  • 9:52 p.m. Controlled fire in the 12250 block of Tunnelton Road
  • 10:09 p.m. Report of a fight in the 6830 block of Bartlettsville Road. At least four people were involved. The caller’s fiancee’s uncle has a big stick and is swinging it. The male has spit on the caller and then left and came back with a gun. The caller ran into the house. The caller’s phone then went dead. At 10:28 p.m. the uncle called requesting to speak to an officer at a home in the 10 block of Knob Creek Road. Police went to both locations
  • 10:10 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 1600 block of Wilkins Way. The building was secure
  • 10:38 p.m. Request for a welfare check on Rariden Hill Road. A male is walking in the roadway. Police were unable to locate the male
  • 11:25 p.m. 911 call at Liberty Bell and Farmer streets in East Oolitic. It was an accidental call
  • 11:42 p.m. Medical emergency in the 10 block of Knob Creek Road. A male has passed out and is unconscious

  • 2:04 a.m. 911 call from the tower on Woodsferry Road. There was no response
  • 3:13 a.m. Officers were out with a person in the 390 block of State Road 37 at the Marathon station. The male was given a ride to Rariden Hill Road
  • 3:42 a.m. Battery in the 40 block of Guthrie Road. A male says another male attacked him and threatened to kill him then left in a gray Cobolt and was headed toward Johnny Junxions. The caller did not want to press charges. The male was told how to file a protective order
