(BEDFORD) – It was another great year for LIFE Fantasia. The event raised more than $32,500.
“This is our only primary fundraiser for our organization. Other organizations try to raise money for us, but this is the one we do by ourselves with the overwhelming support of the community,” says Donnie Hall, Director of Community Relations for LIFE Pantry. “There were more than 100 entries in this year’s Fantasia; a lot of tabletop items, wreaths, and gifts. The weather cooperated with the event and it was well attended this year.”
LIFE is an organization that started in 1987 and is supported by more than 40 churches throughout Lawrence County.
LIFE provides emergency food assistance every 30 days and emergency rent or mortgage utility assistance.
