(MITCHELL) – Because of the stormy weather, Santa will make his appearance at Mitchell’s Small Town Christmas Event Friday, Dec, 6th.
There will be a Christmas parade, chili supper hosted by the Mitchell Fire Department (free-will donations accepted), and Santa Claus will be passing out goody-bags consisting of an apple, orange, and peppermint candy stick to children. There will be desserts, hot cocoa, apple cider, and the air will be filled with live Christmas music. There will also be sleigh rides for $5 a person.
The event is being sponsored by the Mitchell Park Board. The activities will begin at 6 p.m. The parade will step off at 6:30 p.m.
