  • 11:13 p.m. Nino Cocchiarella, 36, Mitchell, possession of meth, unlawful possession of a syringe, possession of a controlled substance, trafficking with an inmate, wanted on a warrant for petition to revoke
  • 11:36 p.m. Christopher Davis, 37, Terre Haute, dealing in a counterfeit substance, possession of meth

  • 5:06 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at the Sinclair gas station
  • 5:17 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Spice Valley Road
  • 5:36 a.m. 911 call from US 50 West. Martin County Sheriff’s Department alerted. A motorist hit a deer
  • 5:52 a.m. 911 call from a resident who does not feel well and is near the schools. Martin County Sheriff’s Department was alerted
  • 6:45 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols at Needmore Elementary
  • 7:06 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols at Springville Elementary
  • 7:21 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols at Heltonville Elementary
  • 7:26 a.m. Request for animal control to the 450 block of Bennett Road. The caller has captured some stray cats
  • 7:50 a.m. 911 call from an unknown location. It was an accidental call
  • 8:28 a.m. Traffic stop at West Powerline Road
  • 9:05 a.m. Controlled fire in the 4230 block of Stumphole Bridge Road
  • 9:19 a.m. Controlled fire at Indiana Limestone
  • 9:21 a.m. Controlled fire in the 1060 block of Elkins Road
  • 9:28 a.m. Request for animal control to the 370 block of Mundell Estates. There were two pigs loose in the caller’s mother’s yard. The pigs were gone when animal control arrived
  • 9:50 a.m. Traffic stop on West Powerline Road
  • 10:14 a.m. Request for animal control to the 2670 block of US 50 East for possible dog neglect
  • 10:42 a.m. Follow up investigation in the 540 block of Hert Hollow Lane. A citation was issued for harboring a non-immunized dog 
  • 10:55 a.m. Request for animal control to the 440 block of North 8th Street to check on her animals because she can’t get a hold of her husband. The officer did not find any animals and the male was not home
  • 11:30 a.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle in the 320 block of Dale Street. Police say the vehicle was broken down
  • 11:33 a.m. Report of an erratic driver in a white Chevrolet truck at State Road 54 at the Avoca exit
  • 1:21 p.m. Trespassing in the 1520 block of Meridian Road. Another person is cutting firewood on his property. The caller says his property is adjacent to the property at the end of Daisy Lane off of Meridian Road. A tree on the Daisy Lane property fell some time ago and landed across the property line and onto the caller’s property. The property owner on Daisy Lane asked to drive onto the caller’s property and into the field to cut up the tree and the caller told them no and some threats were made toward him by these people. The caller adamantly states he did not want these people on his property. Police spoke to the person cutting up the tree. The person removed the cut-up pieces of the tree that was left on the caller’s property and was told to stay off the property
  • 1:30 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a special needs male in the 600 block of West Frank Street. The caller says the caretaker is intoxicated and angry
  • 1:32 p.m. Report of a protective order violation in the 1420 block of I Street
  • 2:23 p.m. Request for animal control to the 1810 block of Dixie Highway for dogs attacking her chickens. The owners were told to keep the dogs put up
  • 2:48 p.m. Citizen assist in the 1170 block of Camelot Court. The caller says there is a strong odor of marijuana in her apartment and it is making her and her neighbor sick. Police were unable to smell the odor
  • 4:55 p.m. 911 call from the 720 block of West County Road 600 North in Orange County. Orange County Sheriff’s Department was alerted
  • 3:29 p.m. Repossession in the 2480 block of Springville Judah Road3:40: p.m. Medical emergency in the 910 block of West Warren Street. A 22-year-old pregnant woman was suffering from a fever
  • 3:46 p.m. Citizen assist in the 1480 block of Trogdon Lan. The officers spoke to the caller’s son and told him he needs to behave his parents and stop losing his temper. The boy is autistic and has PTSD and lost his temper in WalMart today and broke his glasses. The caller says the boy carries a knife and the caller wants police to take it
  • 4:02 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 3040 block of Brown Street
  • 4:06 p.m. Request for animal control to Earl Road to pick up a cat
  • 4:20 p.m. Request for animal control in the 4410 block of Leesville Road. The caller says her neighbor’s pigs are in her yard
  • 4:24 p.m. Officers made extra patrols in the 1870 block of Guthrie Road
  • 6:32 p.m. Agency assist in the 200 block of Kelly Street
  • 6:42 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a white Tahoe southbound at State Road 37 at the Monroe County line
  • 6:47 p.m. Report of a flashing red light under the river bridge on State Road 37. The red light was coming from a utility box7:03 p.m. Transport detail to St. Vincent Dunn Hospital to the 910 block of West Warren Street
  • 4:56 p.m. Report of a suicidal male sitting in a vehicle in the driveway of a home in the 570 block of State Road 60 East with a pistol threatening to kill himself. The man left in the silver Ford Fusion before police arrived heading westbound on State Road 60 East. Police were unable to locate the male. At 5:15 p.m. the male returned to the home
  • 5:18 p.m. report of unsafe shooting in the 2860 block of Gil Gal Road. The caller said his 15- and 18 -year-old daughters walked over to the resident to retrieve their cows. The caller says the male that lives there started shooting at her daughters from his home and was yelling at them. The situation was addressed by police
  • 5:37 p.m. Report of a medical emergency alarm sounding in the 470 block of Sportsman Club Road. It was set off accidental
  • 5:37 p.m. Agency assist in the 110 block of West Warren Street. This was a custody issue
  • 5:39 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 10130 block of Tunnelton Road
  • 6:16 p.m. 911 call hangup investigation in the 10380 block of US 50 West . 
  • 7:34 p.m. Report of a suspicious black Mustang parked at the end of the caller’s driveway in the 200 block of Armstrong Station Road. The car then pulled away but stopped a short distance up the road. Police found no problem
  • 7:36 p.m. Agency assist in the 200 block of Main Street in Mitchell
  • 8:30 p.m. Agency assist in the 130 block of East Frank Street with a home visit reference domestic violence
  • 8:36 p.m. EMS placed on standby for Orange County
  • 8:55 p.m. Report of unsafe shooting in the 4410 block of Leesville Road. The caller reported they are putting her neighbor’s pet pig in its when her other neighbor shot the pig. That neighbor is also making threats to shoot people and other animals. The caller is requesting to speak to an officer
  • 9:22 p.m. Report of drug activity at 14th Street and West Brook Street. A syringe was found lying in the grass on the east side of 14th Street
  • 9:58 p.m. 911 call reporting a possibly intoxicated driver in a red Nissan at State Road 37 and State Road 58 East
  • 10:01 p.m. Warrant service in the 500 block of South Meridian Road. A male was arrested on a Vigo County warrant
  • 10:03 p.m. Investigation at Doc Hamilton Boulevard on the north side of the fire station
  • 10:44 p.m. Officers were out with a person at North Fifth and West Oak streets
  • 11:02 p.m. Report of drug activity at State Road 60 East near Kegs Liquors
