  • 5:04 a.m. Medical emergency in the 380 block of Grandoung Road. A medical alarm company reported an 83-year-old woman has fallen out of her bed and was stuck between the bed and the wall
  • 6:14 a.m. Medical emergency in the 200 block of Third Street in Oolitic. A 12-year-old was unconscious
  • 7:09 a.m. Police made extra patrols at Needmore Elementary
  • 7:24 a.m. Vandalism to a vehicle reported in the 560 block of Louie Smith Road
  • 8:05 a.m. Request for animal control to the 1480 block of Earl Road for a cat captured in a trap
  • 8:56 a.m. Medical emergency in the 1930 block of Tunnelton Denniston Road. A 73-year-old female was extremely weak

  • 9:53 a.m. A juvenile problem in the 200 block of South 9th Street. A 13-year-old was refusing to go to school. The student finally went to school
  • 9:56 a.m. Medical emergency in the 380 block of Groundhog Road. A person was having trouble breathing 
  • 10:26 a.m. Brown County Police requested a welfare check on a male resident in the 2510 block of North Poor Farm Road
  • 10:43 a.m. 911 call hangup in the 230 block of Woodlawn Drive in Mitchell. It was an accidental call
  • 11:11 a.m. Lift assist in the 2630 block of Dixie Highway 11:26 a.m. Request for animal control to phone the caller about possible animal neglect
  • 11:26 a.m. Medical emergency in the 2290 block of US 50 East. A 74-year-old was acting bizarre
  • 11:32 a.m. Report of a suspicious male in a white flat-bed truck on Patton Hill Road near the quarry. Police say it was a quarry worker
  • 11:38 a.m. A person on Shawswick Station Road reported he lost a Smith & Wesson long rifle that was on top of his truck. He went back and found the magazine but the gun was gone
  • 11:44 a.m. Medical emergency in the 420 block of Phillips Lane
  • 12:46 p.m. Traffic stop at Old State Road 37 near the dumpsters
  • 12:47 p.m. Request for animal control to the 1310 block of Elm Park Drive. The neighbor has left their dog in an apartment of days without taking care of it
  • 12:52 p.m. Request for animal control to the 2290 block of Avoca Eureka Road for two huskies running loose. One dog was taken to the shelter
  • 1:57 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 1240 block of Stumphole Bridge Road. It was a false alarm
  • 3:18 p.m. Citizen assist in the 120 block of Guthrie Road. The caller found a box that may contain drugs
  • 3:32 p.m. A resident in the 320 block of Huron Pike Road reported she paid a male $700 to do work on her home about a month ago and he has not finished the work and is ignoring her calls
  • 4:01 p.m. A resident in the 710 block of Liberty Church Road reported he was a victim of fraud
  • 4:02 p.m. Lift assist in the 2630 block of Dixie Highway
  • 4:06 p.m. 911 call from a building in the 600 block of South 8th Street in Mitchell. It was an accidental call
  • 4:06 p.m. Traffic hazard in the 950 block of Salem Road. Phone lines were hanging low
  • 4:09 p.m. Report of an erratic driver at Mitchell and Sand Pit roads. The vehicle almost sideswiped an AMR ambulance and another vehicle and struck the guardrail and continued southbound on State Road 37 from Mitchell Road
  • 4:17 p.m. Traffic stop in the CVS Pharmacy parking lot. The driver was issued a summons to appear in court. The Charge was not listed on the log
  • 4:37 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 7700 block of Tunnelton Road. The building was secure
  • 4:37 p.m. 911 call from a resident in Orange County reporting a male had a piece of meat stuck in his throat. Orange County Sheriff’s Department was alerted
  • 4:47 p.m. Request for animal control to the 110 block of Peaceful Valley Road for a dog chasing cars
  • 4:49 p.m. A woman was on station to speak to an officer. She says on January 2nd she took an ex-lax chocolate bar and the next thing she remembers is waking up in an Indianapolis Hospital and she wants to know what happened to her and wants her doctor investigated6:40 p.m. Citizen assist in the 3690 block of Coveyville Road. The caller says she has been letting a male and female stay in her basement because they were homeless and now they are stealing items from her home and she is requesting to speak to an officer
  • 6:43 p.m. Citizen assist in the 2730 block of Middle Leesville Road. The caller is having a dispute with her landlord. The caller says he has not given them an eviction notice and came in and physically pushed her trying to force her and her son to leave. Police spoke to both parties involved
  • 6:49 p.m. Lift assist in the 2630 block of Dixie Highway 
  • 7:25p.m. Request for animal control to the 770 block of Twin Bridges Road for two stray dogs
  • 7:37 p.m. Medical emergency in the 460 block of South Second Street in Orleans. An ambulance was dispatched and Orange County Sheriff’s Department was alerted. 8:52 p.m. Warrant service in the 1820 block of WPA Road
  • 9:51 p.m. Medical emergency at Mitchell Manor. A person was having suicidal thoughts and being combative
  • 10:19 p.m. Traffic stop in the 4360 block of US 50 East
  • 10:34 p.m. Trespassing in the 2930 block of State Road 58 East
  • 10:52 p.m. Medical emergency in the first block of Moore Lane. A male was having chest pains
  • 11:23 p.m. A male in the 160 block of Greenhill Addition Road is on house arrest and wants to admit himself to Meadows

  • 1:52 a.m. Transport detail with IU Health Bedford to St. Vincent Hospital on 86th Street in Indianapolis
  • 3:52 a.m. Medical emergency in the 3980 block of Stonington Road. A 74-year-old female was suffering chest pains

Accidents – Dec. 2

  • 12:56 p.m. Property damage accident with the driver leaving the scene in the 610 block of Fleenor Road. The vehicle has crashed into the bridge. The driver and their family transported a baby to the hospital to be medically cleared. There was not any damage to the bridge. The vehicle was towed
  • 6:41 p.m. Car/deer accident on Mount Pleasant Road, south of Wallner Quarry Road
