Dennis Lincoln Dunbar, 66, of Mitchell, died Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at Mitchell Manor.
Born September 9, 1953, in Bedford, he was the son of Ty Dunbar and Margaret (Pruett) Dunbar Wilfong.
Denny was a 1971 graduate of Mitchell High School and a member of the Work of God Church.
He worked at Dunbar and Company Insurance for many years and was a claims processor for FEMA the past six years.
Denny loved life and people. He had a great sense of humor and particularly enjoyed playing cards with his friends. Denny loved playing golf, mushroom hunting, and riding his Harley.
Survivors include his siblings, Dana (Brenda) Dunbar, Dwight (Kathy) Dunbar, and Dawn (Dee) Duncan.
His father, mother, and sister, Diana Briscoe, preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Monday, December 2, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Pastor Dwight Dunbar officiating. Following cremation, burial will be in Bonds Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the service on Monday at the funeral home.
