You don’t have to be a chamber member to attend. Chamber members can invite one guest.

There will be a pie-eating contest and drawings for free giveaways including a chamber check, free 2020 membership, and gift baskets.

Those attending will be given a brief recap of some of the chamber’s highlights from the year, including the golf outing and Gov. Eric Holcomb’s visit to the chamber dinner, according to Chamber Membership and Communications Director Zarod Myers.

Giveaways will include a chamber check for an amount to be determined, a free 2020 chamber membership and many more items provided by members, such as gift baskets, he said.

The second annual pie-eating contest will be at 6 p.m., contestants will woof down as much pie as possible in five minutes.

The reigning champion, Jesse McKee Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Administration Officer for Hoosier Hills Credit Union, will defend his title.

McKee won last by gobbling up the most pumpkin pie. As the reigning champion, McKee gets to choose the type of pie the contestants will have to eat. The rumor is that it might be apple pie.
