(BEDFORD) – Two people were arrested early Sunday morning after Bedford Police officers found them near 29th Street and Mitchell Road at 1:25 a.m.
According to Bedford Police Chief Terry Moore, 31-year-old Hogan Abner and 36-year-old Jessica Douglas approached two officers and told them they had walked from their vehicle that was broken down and asked if the officers could assist them with getting their vehicle jumped.
“While speaking to both of them, officers said they showed the usual signs of being intoxicated and gave conflicting information on where their vehicle was located,” Chief Moore added. “Officers searched three different locations they were given and were unable to locate the vehicle.”
Due to their level of intoxication, Abner and Douglas were arrested on a charge of public intoxication.
