More Than 9,500 Items Donated During Stuff a Bus Event

The crew of 1340 AM WBIW, Super Oldies 105.5 WQRK, and 102.5 Litefm WPHZ want to thank the public for their generous donations.

This event was brought to by Rogers Group.

On Saturday, a TASC bus was located at the Bedford Jay C Plus on 16th Street and at Wal-Mart on John Williams Boulevard from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

All of the donations collected went to L.I.F.E. Food Pantry. The non-profit 501(c)(3) organization was started in 1987. The food pantry is a cooperative ministry supported by more than 40 churches throughout Lawrence County.

The pantry provides emergency food assistance and emergency rent or mortgage/utility assistance to those in need in Lawrence County.

The pantry distributes more than 12,000 items each month to families in need.

Stuff A Bus is held annually to help restock L.I.F.E.’s shelves.
