(EMISON) – A Merom man died following a two-vehicle accident on State Road 550 a US 41 near Emison on Friday morning.
Officers were alerted to the crash just after 7 a.m.
Police say a car driven by Charles Frye, of Bicknell, collided with a flatbed transport truck.
The truck was being driven by Tristan Seals, of Vincennes.
Police say Frye was turning onto US 41 from State Road 550 when the two vehicles collided.
Paul Stowers, a passenger in Seals’ truck, was killed in the accident.
Seals was injured and taken to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment. Frye was not injured during the incident.
Traffic was backed up on US 41 while crews investigated and cleaned up the wreckage.
