Barry D. Browning, 61 of Bedford passed away at 3:15 a.m. on Friday, November 22, 2019, at IU Health in Bedford.
He was born on May 6, 1958, in Bedford to Jackie Dean Browning and Shirley Ann (Wray) Browning. Barry married Shawn Chenault in 1976
and she survives.
Barry was a roofer and owner of J.D. Browning & Sons Roofing and was a member of the Oolitic Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Shawn Browning of Bedford; one son, Lieghton Browning and his wife Misty of Bedford; three grandchildren, Codie Hamm, Jaden Browning, and Canaan Browning; two great-grandchildren, Bella Hamm and Myla Hamm; one brother, Rickie Dean Browning of Bedford and one sister, Jacklyn Crozier of Bedford.
Barry was preceded in death by his parents.
Barry’s wishes were to be cremated with a celebration of his life at a later date.
