  • 7:09 a.m. Medical emergency in the 1010 block of West Grissom Avenue. An 81-year-old was ill
  • 7:13 a.m. Officers made extra patrols at Heltonville Elementary
  • 7:15 a.m. Officers made extra patrols at Fayetteville Elementary
  • 7:35 a.m. Traffic stop at Shawswick School Road and US 50 East
  • 7:53 a.m. Request for animal control to the 4630 block of Vinegar Hill Road. A calf was in the roadway
  • 8:01 a.m. Report of an erratic driver traveling at excessive speed in a red Ford 4-door northbound on State Road 37 from US 50 West
  • 8:31 a.m. A resident in the 2570 block of Meridian Road reported her sister was beaten by her husband. This happened in Bedford. The male has threatened to get a gun and come to the caller’s home. He will be driving a red truck. The sister went to the Bedford Police Department to file a report. Police will make extra patrols at the home on Meridian Road

  • 9:12 a.m. Follow up investigation in the 1310 block of Fourth Street

  • 11:36 a.m. 911 call in the 590 block of Stars Boulevard. It was an accidental call

  • 2:11 p.m. Disable vehicle at Mitchell Road at the overpass. The driver was strapping down cargo on his vehicle

  • 2:16 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1130 block of Avoca Road. A female was suffering from an infection
  • 2:19 p.m. 911 call hangup in the 220 block of Dale Street. Officers received 8 more 911 calls. If it continues police seek charges
  • 2:26 p.m. A woman reported she did not get her gun permit back from a Mitchell Police officer after a traffic stop. Police say they gave the permit back and it was witnessed by a second officer. The woman says she has torn her car apart looking for it and can not find it. She will look again
  • 4:10 p.m. Request for animal control in the 1760 block of Beaver Creek Road. A stray bird dog was on her property
  • 4:20 p.m. Traffic stop in the 1480 block of Hancock Avenue
  • 4:32 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at Sinclair station
  • 4:35 p.m. An ambulance was placed on stand by for Orange County
  • 4:47 p.m. Fire in the 280 block of Shawswick Station Road. The caller is only seeing smoke coming from a pole building. Shawswick and Pleasant Run VFDs responded
  • 4:57 p.m. A male was at the Mitchell Police Department to speak to an officer. It was a civil matter
  • 4:59 p.m. Medical emergency at Centerstone. A male was suicidal
  • 6:11 p.m. Warrant service in the 1010 block of West Main Street
  • 6:18 p.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle at Cresthaven Cemetery. A female is sitting in a vehicle and been there for a few hours. The driver ran out of gas and is waiting for a male to arrive
  • 6:35 p.m. Traffic stop in the 210 block of Hoosier Avenue. A male was issued a summons to appear in court for driving while driver’s license suspended
  • 6:36 p.m. Medical emergency in the 700 block of Sandy Lane. A person was suffering from stomach pain
  • 6:43 pm. Theft in the 170 block of Burkwood Hills Lane. The caller says her boyfriend stole her television
  • 6:54 p.m. 911 call hangup in the 2630 block of Mount Pleasant Road. It was an accidental call
  • 7:09 p.m. Traffic stop at 10th Street and Hoosier Avenue in Oolitic
  • 7:16 p.m. Report of a suspicious person at the Avoca Mini Mart.There is a male there that seems intoxicated. Police say the male was intoxicated and was picked up by his ride
  • 8 p.m. Officers were out with a person in the 100 block of Oolitic Road. A female was needing directions
  • 8:21 p.m. Report of a suspicious person at Rulers Food in Mitchell. A male is intoxicated and loitering at the store
  • 8:39 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1800 block of 30th Street. A 27-year-old male was having chest pains
  • 9:06 p.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle in the 90 block of Groundhog Road and the caller believes there are people in an abandoned trailer. Police say this is an on-going dispute between neighbors
  • 9:44 p.m. Juvenile problem in the 310 block of West Warren Street. A 12-year-old says he is walking out and leaving and going to run away
  • 10:42 p.m. Child custody dispute in the 3240 block of Dixie Highway
  • 10:58 p.m. Citizen assist in the 150 block of Jefferson Street. A male says another male hit his vehicle and left the scene traveling west on State Road 58 headed toward Bedford in a gold car. The caller says he was at the Heltonville Store when his vehicle was hit and the two men exchanged words
  • 11:27 p.m. Medical emergency in the 110 block of State Road 60 East. A 56-year-old was suffering stomach pain

  • 1:47 a.m. 911 call in the 1850 block of Old State Road 60 West
  • 1:48 a.m. Report of three suspicious males outside of the caller’s home in the 20 block of Lakeside Estates. The caller also believes someone has hacked his phone. Officers will make extra patrols

  • 6:03 a.m. A person was on station to report a car/deer accident on Ditney Ridge Road
  • 7:57 a.m. Property damage accident at State Road 37 at the Marathon station
  • 6:27 p.m. Car/deer accident on State Road 60 East at Spring Mill State Park
  • 10:36 p.m Property damage accident on US 50 West in the area of the water tower
