(BEDFORD) – The crew of 1340 AM WBIW, Super Oldies 105.5 WQRK, and Litefm 102.5 WPHZ are asking for your help to Stuff A Bus for the L.I.F.E. Food Pantry.
This event is brought to by Rogers Group.
On Saturday, a TASC bus will be located at the Bedford Jay C Plus on 16th Street and at Walmart on John Williams Boulevard from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The goal is to stuff buses full of food and household items for the food pantry.
L.I.F.E. Food Pantry is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that was started in 1987. It is a cooperative ministry supported by more 40 churches throughout Lawrence County.
The pantry provides emergency food assistance and emergency rent or mortgage/utility assistance to those in need in Lawrence County.
The pantry distributes more than 12,000 items each month to families in need.
Stuff A Bus is held annually to help restock L.I.F.E.’s shelves. A TASC bus will be parked at each location on Saturday, November 23rd from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
So swing by and drop off your items or while you’re shopping pick up a few extra goodies to donate this holiday season.
While making your donations you can visit with the crew from the radio station.

- pancake mix and syrup
- canned meats
- boxed dinners
- baby food
- canned pasta’s
- spaghetti and sauce
- mac and cheese
- ramen noodles
- canned soups
- saltine crackers
- peanut butter and jelly
- canned fruit
- dried beans
- cornbread mix
- loaf bread
- hot dog buns
- hamburger buns
- dish soap
- all-purpose cleaners
- toilet paper
- body soap
- laundry soap
They are also in need of plastic grocery sacks.
