(DAVIESS CO.) – The Daviess County Council approved purchasing Automated External Defibrillators for all of the Sheriff’s Department’s patrol vehicles.
Daviess County Health Department Nurse Kathy Sullender requested the defibrillators be purchased. They will be paid for from money collected at the Health Department for immunizations.
   Sullender says 27 units will be purchased and each will have a shock box to protect from extreme temperatures.
Deputies will receive training once the devices are delivered.
