  • 9:25 p.m. Jackson Hatchett, 26, 7381 Leatherwood Rd., wanted a warrant on two counts of battery and criminal mischief

  • 6:17 a.m. Report of three horses in the northbound lane at State Road 37 and Rariden Hill Road.
  • 7:21 a.m. Medical emergency in the 3880 block of Dixie Highway. An elderly female was having trouble breathing. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded
  • 7:30 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols at Needmore Elementary
  • 7:34 a.m. Breathing problem in the 120 block of Lafayette Avenue in Oolitic. A 55-year-old female was having trouble breathing
  • 7:55 a.m. Medical emergency in the 110 block of Third Street in Oolitic. An 81-year-old fell. This happened more than six hours ago
  • 8:05 a.m. Request for animal control to the 70 block of North Sandstone Road in Williams. The caller says a horse has been abandoned at this property. Animal control checked on the horses and they had hay and they were in good health and she found footprints in the snow that someone had been there checking on them
  • 6:05 a.m. Controlled fire at the County Complex
  • 10:03 a.m. Medical emergency in the 3520 block of Tunnelton Road. A 70-year-old female was ill
  • 10:34 a.m. Medical emergency at Lawrenceport and Stonington roads. A female in blue/gray Plymouth Breeze is having a possible diabetic issue
  • 11:04 a.m. A resident in the 2470 block of Stonington Road reported her daughter stole her phone and car. The woman has a protective order against her daughter. An officer says the mother has been letting her daughter stay at the home and use her vehicle
  • 11:25 a.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle in the 1870 block of Hollace Chastain Road. There is a red Ford Explorer in the driver and the 18-year-old female is home alone and scared
  • 11:46 a.m. A resident in the 1920 block of Norton Lane request to speak to an officer
  • 11:55 a.m. Document service in the 260 block of Clark Smith Road
  • 12:06 p.m. Report of a suicidal 72-year-old woman in the 1160 block of Camelot Courts. The woman told a friend she was going to hang herself. The caller is requesting a welfare check
  • 12:13 p.m. Request for animal control to the 8070 block of State Road 37 for stray kittens. Two kittens were taken to the humane society
  • 12:17 p.m. Request for animal control to the 5900 block of State Road 158 for an injured deer. The caller will put the deer down and come to the station for a permit
  • 12:21 p.m. Threats at Mitchell High School. A male was detained and taken to Lawrence County Circuit Court
  • 12:31 p.m. Medical emergency in the 220 block of Sunny Acres Drive. A person fell

  • 2:29 p.m. Report of an erratic driver at State Road 37 and State Road 54. Bedford Police were alerted
  • 2:59 p.m. Medical emergency in the 220 block of Sunny Acres Drive. A person fell
  • 3:10 p.m. 911 call in the 4410 block of Leesville Road. Dispatch was unable to make contact with the caller
  • 3:12 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37, north of Sinclair’s service station. The driver was cited for speeding
  • 3:15 p.m. Theft of a cell phone in the 1070 block of Art Gallery Road
  • 3:25 p.m. Disabled vehicle in the northbound lane of State Road 37, north of State Road 37
  • 3:37 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Woodville Road
  • 3:55 p.m. A juvenile was transported to the Johnson County Detention Center
  • 4:03 p.m. Theft in the 270 block of Perry Street. The caller says his son stole his John Deer lawnmower and other items and is requesting to speak to an officer
  • 4:07 p.m. Domestic fight in the 220 block of Main Street in Mitchell. The caller says his wife is being belligerent and threating to cut off his testicles. Mitchell police say the male has been drinking. The female says she will stay away from the male

  • 4:51 p.m. Medical emergency in the 390 block of Old Buddha Road. A 44-year-old male was suffering from chest pains. Shawswick Volunteer Fire Department responded and Narcan was administered
  • 4:52 p.m. Gas leak reported in the 360 block of East Oolitic Road. Shawswick VFD responded. A vehicle struck a gas meter and gas is spewing out
  • 5:02 p.m. 911 call hang up in the 110 block of Grissom Avenue
  • 5:41 p.m. Medical emergency in the 360 block of East Oolitic Road. A person was having a seizure
  • 5:59 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 140 block of Denson Street. The caller says they have received numerous text messages from a woman at the home reporting she is scared of a male who is living at the home and is in fear for her life. There is a protective order but it has not been served on the male
  • 6:02 p.m. An off-duty officer reported an erratic driver in a black Dodge Nitro westbound at US 50 East at the Jackson County line
  • 6:13 p.m. A male in the 910 block of Patton Hill Road reported his ex is refusing to let him see his child
  • 6:21 p.m. A female in the 4550 block of Thralls Road reported she did a child exchange with her child’s father and he did not have a car seat for the child
  • 6:37 p.m. 911 call requesting assistance at US 50 and State Road 650 for a semi to back up
  • 6:51 p.m. Medical emergency in the 70 block of Cindy Lane. A 77-year-old male needs to go to the hospital because he is ill. An AMR ambulance responded
  • 6:54 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 60 and South 9th Street
  • 7:55 p.m. 911 call in the 20 block of Teke Burton Drive. There was no one on the line
  • 8:10 p.m. Citizen assist in the 820 block of Coxton Road. A female request to speak to an officer because her ex is telling the Department of Child Services false information to gain custody of their daughter
  • 8:15 p.m. Agency assist in the 810 block of 22nd Street
  • 8:24 p.m. Warrant service in the 7380 block of Leatherwood Road. A wanted man is currently at the house. The male was arrested
  • 8:56 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 58 East and Bell Back Road
  • 9:16 p.m. Lift assist in the 320 block of Main Street. A 54-year-old male was on the floor
  • 9:20 p.m. Warrant service in the 1420 block of I Street
  • 9:53 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a male living in a tent in the 220 block of East Grissom Avenue. The male has a dog that will not stop barking. The owner came and got the dog
  • 10:14 p.m. Medical emergency in the 510 block of South Second Street. A person was bleeding
  • 11:29 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 60 East and State Road 37
  • 11:52 p.m Report of a fire in the 930 block of Trinton Circle. Shawswick, Marion and Oolitic Fire Departments responded along with an IU Health Ambulance and the Tabernacle of Praise Emergency Services Unit.

  • 12:35 a.m. Request for a welfare check in the 1930 block of Blue Springs Caverns Road. The caller says her father called and said dial911 and then hung up and she has not been able to make contact with him
  • 1:25 a.m. Report of an alarm sounding at the American Legion on Sheeks Drive. The bartender accidentally set off the alarm
  • 2 a.m Agency assist at Reveres gas station. A K-9 was requested and alerted on the passenger door
  • 2:21 a.m. Traffic stop at WalMart
  • 2:57 a.m. Officers were out with a vehicle at Williams Covered Bridge. There was no problem
  • 3:58 a.m. Alarm sounding at C&M Conveyor

  • 7:39 a.m. Property damage accident at North Sandstone Road, between State Road 158 and Ridge Road. A vehicle slide off the roadway. The vehicle was gone when police arrived
  • 7:56 a.m. 911 call reporting a car/deer accident in the 210 block of Heltonville Road
  • 8:05 a.m. Property damage accident at Huron Williams Road, a fourth a mile north of Kings Ridge Road
  • 10:09 a.m. Property damage accident on Henderson Creek Road. A county highway worker found a truck that struck a tree with no one around it. It appears it has been there for a few days
  • 2:01 p.m. Property damage accident at State Road 37 and Patton Hill Road
  • 2:57 p.m. Property damage accident in the 860 block of Trogdon Lane
  • 4:35 p.m. 911 call in the 1830 block of Williams Road. The caller says a maroon colored Toyota SUV struck the side of a barn and then continued westbound on State Road 450
  • 5:14 p.m. Accident with possible injuries at State Road 37 and Art Gallery Road
  • 6:40 p.m. Car/deer accident at Williams Road and Goose Lane
