Second Annual Christmas with the Ponys Saturday, Dec. 7th Benefits PALS

(BLOOMINGTON) – The Second Annual Christmas with the Ponys will be held Saturday, Dec. 7 from 1 pm. until 5 p.m. at the PALS barn at 7644 West Elwren Road in Bloomington.

The entrance fee is $5 per person and includes one photo with a horse. Children 2 years old and under are admitted free.

Proceeds benefit PALS – People & Animal Learning Services. PALS promotes joy, quality of life, better health and empowerment by providing therapeutic programs with horses. PALS which is located in Bloomington was established as a 501(c)3 organization in 2000. PALS is a Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.) accredited program and is a United Way of Monroe County Certified Member Agency.

The festivities include horse rides, grooming sessions, arts and crafts, a Christmas cookie and photos with the horses. Some activities are available at an additional cost.

All tickets will be sold a the door a first-come-first-serve basis.

Those attending are asked to bundle up – the barn is only 10 degrees warmer than it is outside.
