(BLOOMINGTON) – The body of a deceased man was found in a parked car near Bryan Park Thursday night.
Bloomington Police Department Lt. John Kovach says foul play was not involved and there were no signs of trauma to the body. Police are not identifying the approximately 60-year-old man until next of kin are notified.
Police were requested to the scene to do a welfare check at 5:20 p.m. after a friend recognized the man’s four-door white Sedan and was concerned for his well being.
The friend told police his friend had been living in his car for some time.
Coroner Joani Shields was alerted and an autopsy and toxicology report is pending.
