Stone City FOP Lodge 94 Teaming Up with Chicago Pizza for Cops for Kids Program

(MITCHELL) – Stone City Fraternal Order of Police and Chicago Pizza are teaming up on Monday, Nov. 11th for the Cops for Kids Program from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.

“The program is similar to Coffee with a Cop, but with pizza,” says Officer Kody Emmons, President of the Stone City FOP. “The Bedford Police Department and Mitchell Police Department will be participating and will have police cars there for attendees to check out. Ten percent of the proceeds from this event will go towards the Cops for Kids program that we put on every year.”

The Cops for Kids allows officers to take underprivileged children to Walmart during the holiday season and buy them necessary clothing that is appropriate for winter weather, shoes, hats, gloves, in addition to toys.

“Attendees may also donate other amounts if they wish,” added Emmons. “Anyone who can not attend the event and wishes to make a child’s Christmas brighter can donate by contacting any member of Stone City FOP Lodge 94.”
