Bedford Man Injured After Flipping Car

(BEDFORD) – A Bedford man was injured after he flipped his 2006 Toyota Prius at the corner of 20th and F streets early Monday morning.

According to a Bedford Police Department report, 30-year-old Robert McGaha had been drinking.

Officers were called to the crash site at 12:29 a.m.

According to a witness, McGaha was traveling at a high rate of speed through the Lincoln Elementary School parking lot. The car then struck the curb at the intersection of 20th and F streets causing the vehicle to flip on its passenger side.

Police found McGaha inside the car. He had minor bleeding to his head. He was transported by ambulance to IU Health Bedford Hospital for treatment. While there, he was given a portable breath test, which showed a positive result that McGaha had been drinking.
