State of Indiana Disparity Study Public Meeting Coming to a Region Near You

(UNDATED) – The Indiana Department of Administration (IDOA) has retained BBC Research & Consulting (BBC) to conduct a disparity study to examine state contracting and procurement.

The disparity study will help inform IDOA’s efforts to encourage the participation of minority- and women-owned businesses in State contracting and procurement.

BBC invites you to participate in a disparity study meeting where you will be able to learn more about the study and tell us about your experiences doing business in Indiana. The insights that you provide will be integrated into BBC’s analyses. BBC is seeking information related to:

  • Perceptions about and experiences with doing business in Indiana and working with State agencies;
  • Any barriers or difficulties that businesses experience when bidding on State contracts; and
  • Any discrimination or other barriers that businesses have experienced in the local marketplace.

Six community meetings will be held in connection with the disparity study throughout the state:
