  • 5:54 a.m. Traffic stop in the 4100 block of Mitchell Road
  • 7:05 a.m. Police made extra patrols at Fayetteville Elementary
  • 7:07 a.m. Police made extra patrols at Needmore Elementary
  • 7:16 a.m. Police made extra patrols at Springville Elementary
  • 7:33 a.m. Juvenile probation reported a 15-year-old female in the 910 block of Lawrence Street in Mitchell was refusing to go to school
  • 7:34 a.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 5000 block of State Road 37 at Crossroads Church. A male in dark clothing was trying to get in the building
  • 7:52 a.m. 911 call hang up. Dispatch called back and found out it was an accidental call
  • 8:14 a.m. 911 call in the 1170 block of Camelot Courts. The caller says somone was refusing to leave her apartment, but they have since left
  • 8:42 a.m. Traffic stop in the 4700 block of US 50 East
  • 8:56 a.m. Request for animal control in the 1760 block of Huron Williams Road for a stray dog that is chasing his ducks. The black puppy was taken to the shelter
  • 9:04 a.m. Controlled fire in the 410 block of Goosetown Road
  • 9:11 a.m. Medical emerency in the 280 block of Guthrie Bend. A 65-year-old female was sick

  • 9:57 a.m. Theft in the 1170 block of Camelot Courts. The caller called again and requested police disregard she wanted to drop the charges
  • 10:15 a.m. Request for animal control to the 390 block of Motocross Road for a stray cat
  • 10:24 a.m. Theft in the 1020 block of Art Gallery Road. A firearm was stolen out of a truck
  • 10:28 a.m. Traffic stop at Springville Judah Road and Morningside Drive. A citation was issued for speeding
  • 10:31 a.m. Trespassing in the 680 block of Woodville Road
  • 10:32 a. m. Report of illegal dumping of trash on a farm in the 1780 block of Sherwood Road. Police found the owners of the trash and he has hired someone to remove it by noon today
  • 10:42 a.m. Request for animal control to the 1340 block of Crandell Street for a large dog who broke his chain
  • 11:02 a.m. Child custody dispute in the 930 block of Trinton Circle. The male was on station to speak to an officer. The mother did not have his daughter on a flight back home after fall break. The mother told police she was at work and had no way to get her daughter to the airport and she had filed for emergency custody in Lawrence County. The male has not yet been served the paperwork
  • 11:27 a.m. Citizen assist in the 1200 block of Elm Park Drive.The caller says a dog attacked someone. The caller will not say who the dog attacked
  • 11:32 a.m. A resident in the 420 block of North Fifth Street reported he located several items in his driveway, clothing, needles and possible stolen items
  • 12:04 p.m. 911 call from StoneCrest Golf Course. There was no answer
  • 12:10 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 3710 block of South Leatherwood Road

  • 1:37 p.m. A woman reported she gave her mother permission to use her car and now she is refusing to return the vehicle and she would like to speak to an officer. No addresss was listed in the log

  • 1:49 p.m. Medical emergency in the 10 block of Ludlow Drive. A person was having a seizure
  • 1:56 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 4870 block of US 50 East. It was a false alarm
  • 2:10 p.m. Citizen assist in the 1960 block of Dunn Bridge Road
  • 2:17 p.m. Controlled fire in the 920 block of Woodville Road
  • 2:22 p.m. A male was on station to report a theft of a chain saw from the 560 block of Vinegar Hill Road
  • 2:41 p.m. Request for animal control to the 2000 block of Logan Donica Road. The caller says the neighbor’s dog never stops barking
  • 2:53 p.m. 911 call hang up in the 260 block of Schores Lane. A child answered the phone when dispatch called back and then hung up again
  • 3:19 p.m. Report of a suicidal person in the 40 block of Persimmon Park Apartments
  • 3:47 p.m. A female was on station to a male was harassing her
  • 3:49 p.m. Medical emergency in the 610 block of North Jackson Road. A 97-year-old female is ill
  • 4:16 p.m. A male in the 6240 block of Sand Pit Road request to speak to an officer about a restraining order he received
  • 4:17 p.m. Report of trespassing in the 210 block of South 8th Street
  • 4:19 p.m. 911 call reporting a fight at the north gate of the picket line at GM Powertrain
  • 4:33 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 530 block of South 8th Street
  • 4:50 p.m. Citizen assist in the 120 block of West Grissom Avenue. An elderly woman locked her keys in her car
  • 5:04 p.m. Medial emertency at the Dollar General Store on US 50 East. A caller reported her mother went to court today and her ex tampered with her car. There was no evidence anything was done to the vehicle
  • 5:12 p.m. Theft of multiple items from the 160 block of Old State Road 60 West
  • 5:40 p.m. Suicidal person in the 610 block of West Warren Street. A female reported to killer herself and shoot anyone around her. The female was ok, police say she had been drinking
  • 5:50 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a grey F-250 on Doc Hamilton Boulevard and State Road 37
  • 6:36 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 620 block of Fayetteville Williams Road. The caller says her stepmother is threatening the caller’s grandmother
  • 6:38 p.m. Unwanted person at the Dollar Tree. A female has been in and out of the store several times today and is believed to be stealing items
  • 6:58 p.m. Request for animal control to the 10700 block of Williams Road. The caller is concerned about the welfare of two dog
  • 7:02 p.m. Traffic stop in the 1120 block of West Main Street. A citation was issued for driving while driver’s license is suspended
  • 7:05 p.m. Citizen assist in the 310 block of Third Street in Oolitic. A 13-year-old female is in a verbal altercation with her grandmother
  • 7:08 p.m. Threats in the 160 block of Dogwood Acres Lane
  • 7:20 p.m. Medical emergency on South Leatherwood Road. An 81 year-old fell
  • 7:21 p.m. Offiers were out with a vehicle at US 50 West
  • 7:39 p.m. Harassment in the 520 block of South Meridian Road. The caller was at the Mitchell Police Department to file a report
  • 7:46 p.m. Agency assist in the 3100 block of US 50 West on a 13-year-old female who ran away from IU Health Bloomington Hospital and pinged her phone at the above location. The mother is on her way to the child’s grandparent’s home to pick the child up and return her to Meadows Hospital. The child was fine
  • 7:53 p.m. Traffic stop at Warren and Cherry streets
  • 7:59 p.m. Warrant service in the 210 block of Second Street. The male was in the Orange County Jail
  • 8:11 p.m. Officers were out with a semi over an embankment at Doc Hamilton Boulevard
  • 8:11 p.m. A resident in the 610 block of West Warren Street who was intoxicated requested a welfare check on her children who live out by the saw mill. When Mitchell Fire Department first responders to the home there was a verbal altercation taking place. The first responders were on standby near the post office waiting on police to arrive
  • 9:24 p.m. Officers were out with a vehicle at Fifth Street and North Mississippi Avenue
  • 9:35 p.m. Utility problem in the 300 block of Frank Street. The caller says they have no water
  • 10:12 p.m. Disabled vehicle at Springville Judah Road
  • 10:19 p.m. Lift assist in the 800 block of lift assist in the 800 block of Walnut Street in Oolitic. An 88-year-old male fell out of a chair
  • 10:25 p.m. Harassment in the 190 block of Spencer Pike Road. A female keeps calling the male and cussing him out
  • 10:29 p.m. Agency assist with Indiana State Police at South Sixth Street
  • 11:14 p.m. Medical emergency in the 530 block of Noe Road. A perosn was suffering chest pains
