Northeast Recycling Center Accepting Food Waste In Partnership with Green Camino

(BLOOMINGTON) – If you cannot compost at your residence or do not wish to you can sign up with Green Camino and receive a compost bucket.

Bring food waste and recyclables to the Northeast Recycling Center in Monroe County. The rural recycling center in New Unionville is piloting a food waste collection program.

Once your bucket is full of unusable food waste, drop it off at the Monroe County Waste Management District’s Northeast Recycling Center in New Unionville. Open every day from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. closed Thursdays and Sundays.
