Bloomington-Based Pigasus Pictures Has Red Carpet Premiere & Two Films In Heartland festival

(BLOOMINGTON) – Pigasus Pictures is quickly taking the film world by storm having been in business for just three years. They have completed three features including The Good Catholic, which won Best Feature Film at the 2017 Santa Barbara International Film Festival, starring Danny Glover and John C. McGinley along with Zachary Spicer and Wrenn Schmidt. The Good Catholic received national distribution in more than 20 theaters and is now available on Netflix.

    Summary:  Ms. White Light is the story of Lex Cordova (Roberta Colindrez), a young woman who counsels terminally ill clients that have trouble letting go. While proving uniquely talented in her ability to connect with the dying, Lex is a total loss when it comes to dealing with everyone else. When Valerie (Judith Light), a sharp-tongued free spirit who simply has no time for her own mortality, refuses to play by Lex’s rules, Lex is forced to question her own decisions, and must decide if the business of dying is truly worth it…even at the cost of living her life. Ms. White Light is the second feature-length film by Pigasus Pictures, and has received wide acclaim after premiering at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas.

    Summary: The MisEducation of Bindu follows Bindu (Megan Suri), as she struggles to navigate American high school, attempting to pass the Spanish proficiency exam to escape the bullies of high school. Her mother (Priyanka Bose) does her best to keep Bindu on track in school, while maintaining her Indian heritage. Her mother’s boyfriend (David Arquette), tries to give Bindu advice on boys and high school life in America, much to Bindu’s chagrin.
