Bedford Lions Club Pancake Breakfast Raises Funds For Community Projects

(BEDFORD) – The Lion’s Club held their annual pancake event on Saturday at the Thornton Park Shelter House. The annual pancake breakfast is held the first Saturday in May as well as the first Saturday in October.

Several people attend this annual event held on the 1st Saturday of May and October which is the main fundraiser for the Bedford Lion’s Club.

“This is a very good day to have this event. We had a steady crowd very early this morning,” stated Dustin Williams president of the Bedford Lion’s Club. “The club has our two pancake breakfasts, and 5K Run that supports our organization.”

The Bedford Lions club supports several causes which include eye screenings, dictionaries for students, and camps for children, just to name a few of the projects the club supports.

“[Were] not able to give you the exact numbers at this time. But we had a wonderful turnout for breakfast,” Williams concluded.
