(ROCKVILLE) – Warden Julie Stout and the Rockville Correctional Facility (RCF) congratulate Michelle (Kem) Boetjer, Danielle Myers, and Buffy Pratt on their graduation from the prestigious Indiana Department of Correction (IDOC) Leadership Academy.

The IDOC Leadership Academy focuses of developing leadership skills by focusing on self-awareness, personal accountability, initiative, positive attitude, communication, and team building.  Graduates are committed to becoming better leaders in the workplace and in their lives.

Kem Boetjer has been a correctional officer, correctional sergeant, and is now a Recreation Leader.  Danielle Myers has been a correctional officer, and is currently a Correctional Sergeant.  Buffy Pratt has worked her way up from correctional caseworker, correctional casework manager, and is now a Unit Team Manager.  All three of these staff have excelled in leadership roles, and with the additional tools gleaned from the Leadership Academy these leaders are taking their skills to the next level.
