(ORLEANS) – Orleans Phi Beta Psi is hosting their 2nd Annual Golf Cart Parade during the upcoming 2019 Orleans Fall Fun Fest in the Park on October 12th.
Let your imagination run wild, get creative, decorate your golf cart, and join the parading around the town square. Other street legal utility vehicles are also welcome.
Registration will take place on parade day in the Super Clean Car Wash parking lot from 10:30 a.m. until 10:50 a.m., registration is $10 per cart.
Those participating will parade around Congress Square a few times at 11 a.m. then line up on the square for voting.
The community is asked to come vote for your favorite golf cart using cash or coins.
The golf cart with the most monetary votes at the end of the parade wins $50.
Proceeds will help funds cancer research, provide local cancer patient support, local charitable causes, and scholarships.
