(SCOTT CO.) – INDOT contractor MAC Construction will close the right lane of westbound State Road 56 in Scottsburg tomorrow morning (Oct. 3) for concrete patching work.
The closure will be in effect from the US 31 intersection to I-65 through Monday (Oct. 7), weather permitting.
Following the completion of work in the right westbound lane, the lane closure will move to the right lane of eastbound State Road 56 for additional patching.
Motorists are urged to slow down, use caution and drive without distractions through the work zone.
Concrete patching from US 31 to I-65 is part of the $1.9 million intersection improvement project that began in late April. The project is expected to be completed by late October.
