Hoosier Hills Food Bank Hosting 39th Annual Community Book Fair

(BLOOMINGTON) – Hoosier Hills Food Bank will host the 36th annual community book fair at the Monroe County Fairgrounds Oct. 3-8.

There are specialty areas with large collections of children’s books, rare and collectible “better books,” horror and science fiction books, games and puzzles, comics, stamps and coins, and a big media section with DVDs, CDs, records, and tapes all at great, low prices.

There will also be programs and food trucks throughout the week.

Bring a canned food donation and receive a $1 book buck coupon.

All profits will benefit the food bank’s hunger relief work.

Opening Day for this year’s book fair is Thursday, October 3, which is also Veteran’s Appreciation Day.

Opening Day hours are 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. and admission is $10. Veterans are admitted free.

The book fair will run through Tuesday, October 8th, and all other days, admission is free.
