  • 3:51 p.m. A person was at the Mitchell Police Department to report harassment. The woman reported a person at work had touched her outside of her clothing in an inappropriate manner

  • 4:15 p.m. A person was at the Mitchell Police Department to report they lost $543 dollars in cash at work and is unsure who would have taken the money

  • 5:47 p.m. Report that a male pulled a knife on him at the Persimmon Festival

  • 6:10 p.m. Battery in the 3010 block of Avoca Eureka Road and was currently at the Dollar General Store in Oolitic. The female had no visible marks and did not want to file charges. She was given a ride to a relative’s home
  • 6:14 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 1290 block of Popcorn Road. A male left Community Hospital in Kokomo with an IV still in his arm. Staff are asking police to check on him and to make sure he removed the IV and he is okay.
  • 6:14 p.m. Citizen assist in the 120 block of West Vine Street in Mitchell. The caller’s child had locked her belongings in a the vehicle
  • 6:21 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 446 and West Powerline Road
  • 7:22 p.m. Officers made extra patrols in the 890 block of West Frank Street
  • 7:22 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Old State Road 37
  • 7:31 p.m. Fight at South 8th and West Frank streets. Two teens were fighting but were separated by an adult. Police checked the area and could not find the teens
  • 7:33 p.m. Report of possible drug activity in the 900 block of Hall Avenue. Police were unable to find any problem

  • 8:10 p.m. Controlled fire in the 1911 block of Spencer Pike Road. The caller was advised of the burn ban

  • 8:43 p.m. Medical emergency in the 910 block of Georgia Firetowner Road. A 79-year-old male was having trouble breathing
  • 9:03 p.m. Citizen assist at Coveyville Road and Larry Tincher Lane. A male says he stopped to assist a woman who was walking along side of the road and she told the caller she had been dropped off in a cornfield and has no idea where she is. The caller says the female is either having an anxiety attack or under the influence of drugs. Police gave the female a ride to Bedford
  • 9:23 p.m. Battery in the 7870 block of State Road 158. The caller says a male has beat up her pregnant woman
  • 9:30 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1150 block of Hidden Falls Camp Road. A male was complaining of chest pains
  • 9:45 p.m. Vandalism in the 210 block of East Grissom Avenue. someone spray painted her garage with a pitch fork and Star of David
  • 10:10 p.m. Citizen assist at State Road 37 and West Main Street. The caller says a female was being aggressive with her

  • 5:42 p.m. Accident at North Third and Warren Street in Mitchell. A child on a bicycle was hit by a vehicle. The child was fine just a skinned knee
