  • 4:15 p.m. A person was at the Mitchell Police Department to report they lost $543 dollars in cash at work and is unsure who would have taken the money

  • 6:10 p.m. Battery in the 3010 block of Avoca Eureka Road and was currently at the Dollar General Store in Oolitic. The female had no visible marks and did not want to file charges. She was given a ride to a relative’s home
  • 6:14 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 1290 block of Popcorn Road. A male left Community Hospital in Kokomo with an IV still in his arm. Staff are asking police to check on him and to make sure he removed the IV and he is okay.
  • 6:14 p.m. Citizen assist in the 120 block of West Vine Street in Mitchell. The caller’s child had locked her belongings in a the vehicle
  • 6:21 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 446 and West Powerline Road
  • 7:22 p.m. Officers made extra patrols in the 890 block of West Frank Street
  • 7:22 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Old State Road 37
  • 7:31 p.m. Fight at South 8th and West Frank streets. Two teens were fighting but were separated by an adult. Police checked the area and could not find the teens

A male says he stopped to assist a woman who was walking along side of the road and she told the caller she had been dropped off in a cornfield and has no idea where she is. The caller says the female is either having an anxiety attack or under the influence of drugs. Police gave the female a ride to Bedford

  • 9:45 p.m. Vandalism in the 210 block of East Grissom Avenue. someone spray painted her garage with a pitch fork and Star of David
