(BEDFORD) – New and expecting parents are invited to the Community Baby Shower Oct. 5 at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital, at 1600 23rd St.
The event is from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the second-floor commons area of the hospital. Lunch will be provided.
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. Child care will not be provided; parents should make arrangements for other children.

Parents can attend break-out sessions on infant care, labor, and delivery, safe sleep and breastfeeding and learn about resources available.
The shower is for parents who have had a child in 2019 or are expecting.
Moms and dads, or moms accompanied by one guest are eligible to attend.
About 25 vendor booths will be set up to provide information to new parents. There will also be giveaways and door prizes. Parents must be present to win.
