Indiana Grown Commission Meeting

(INDIANAPOLIS) – The Indiana Grown Commission will meet on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (ET), in the Indiana Farm Bureau building (225 S. East St., Indianapolis, IN 46202). 

The Indiana Grown Commission is a 12 member body appointed by the Lieutenant Governor which was formed in the summer of 2014. The commission assists the Indiana State Department of Agriculture in developing the marketing and economic development program that will help connect Indiana food and agricultural companies with consumers, retailers, restaurants and more.

Indiana Grown is administered by the Indiana State Department of Agriculture in partnership with the lieutenant governor’s office. The initiative educates consumers on the importance of buying Indiana Grown products, helps Indiana farmers and producers sell more products and supports Indiana processors in their effort to process more Indiana Grown products.
