Larry Craig, 68, of Bedford, passed away at his residence at 5:25 a.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2019.
He was born in Lawrence County on October 3, 1950, to Harold James Craig and Dorothy Lucille (Pruett) Craig. Larry married Debra Webb on July 3, 1986, and she survives.
Larry was a graduate of Needmore High School and was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, he retired from NWSC Crane where he worked in mechanical maintenance. He attended Woodville Baptist Church and was a member of the Oolitic V.F.W
Survivors include his wife, Debra Craig of Bedford, one son, Jason (Mary) Craig of Avoca, one daughter, Amy (Craig) Busse of Bedford, two brothers, Jim (Patty) Craig of Bedford and Gary (Bonnie) Craig of Bedford, one sister, Martha Hollars of Bedford, four grandchildren, Logan Storms, Lucy Storms, Emma Busse, and Jessica Craig, five great-grandchildren and his beloved dogs, Chelsea and Kiki
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Linda Corbin.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at 2 p.m.
Pm at Cresthaven Funeral Home, entombment will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens, military rites will be performed by the Bedford American Legion Post #33. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 24th from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home and on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m.
