Flagging Operations Begin Friday Morning at State Road 252, Cramertown Loop Intersection in Martinsville

(MARTINSVILLE) – Traffic at the intersection of State Road 252 and Cramertown Loop will be controlled by flagging beginning Friday morning (Sept. 20). Crews will be installing in-pavement signal detection sensors and equipment to allow for more efficient timing at the new traffic signal installed last week.

Flagging operations are scheduled from approximately 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m, Friday through Sunday, and into Monday if needed, to complete the installation.

Eastbound and westbound traffic on State Road 252 will experience short delays as crews flag traffic in each direction.

Motorists should slow down, watch for slowed and stopped traffic, and drive distraction-free in the area, as well as in the work zone on State Road 37 in Martinsville.

All work is weather dependent.
