  • 5:55 a.m. Medical emergency in the 1130 block of Noe Road. A 59-year-old was ill
  • 6:03 a.m. Medical emergency in the 350 block of Austin Drive. A person suffered a possible stroke
  • 6:46 a.m. A 24-year-old female was suffering a psychotic problem in the 130 block of Stonegate Court. The woman was transported to IU Health Hospital. The caller believes the female ingested meth and showed up at the home impaired
  • 7:20 a.m. Medical emergency in the 110 block of Brookside Drive. A male was unconscious
  • 7:24 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 446 and West Powerline Road
  • 7:24 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols at Springville Elementary
  • 7:43 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols at Heltonville Elementary
  • 7:45 a.m. Theft of a vehicle from Indiana Limestone. The vehicle was located in the 8860 block of State Road 158.
  • 8:46 a.m. Request for animal control to the 3720 block of Tunnelton Road. Three dogs have killed the callers chickens and guineas. Animal control captured one of the dogs.
  • 9:10 p.m. Medical emergency in the 610 block of West Warren Street. A 50-year-old was having an anxiety attack
  • 9:55 a.m. Follow up investigation in the 300 block of Main Street at Indiana Limestone
  • 10:16 a.m. 911 call at an unknown location
  • 11:32 a.m. Request for animal control to check on a dog not being feed in the 740 block of Pattonville Road.
  • 11:33 a.m. 911 call in the 3370 block of Ridge Road. It was an accidental call
  • 11:49 a.m. Follow up investigation in the 1980 block of Avoca Eureka Road
  • 12:15 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 100 block of Montana Lane
  • 12:18 p.m. Medical emergency in the 330 block of Perry Road. A 58-year-old female was suffering a migraine
  • 12:41 p.m. Report of a juvenile problem in the 50 block of Sieboldt Quarry Road. A female was on station to report her 16-year-old daughter had battered their 4-year-old and her husband. The juvenile causing the problem has mental health issues and the mother does not want to see criminal charges filed because of the child’s mental status. The woman is going to take the child to Meadow’s Hospital for treatment
  • 12:46 p.m. Request for animal control to the Blue Springs Cabin Road for a cat in a trap
  • 1:24 p.m. Report of an abandoned vehicle at Fayetteville Store
  • 1:28 p.m. Medical emergency in the1000 block of Fifth Street. A female had suffered a possible stroke
  • 1:50 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a thin blonde female walking along State Road 37 at the Avoca light
  • 2:02 p.m. Report of a disabled vehicle at State Road 37 and Washboard Road
  • 2:16 p.m. A male was on station to report the theft of skid steer forks from Art Gallery Road
  • 2:23 p.m. Medical emergency in the 190 block of Old Needmore School Road
  • 2:24 p.m. Warrant service in the 500 block of North 8th Street
  • 2:38 p.m. Medical emergency in the 310 block of Shawnee Lane. A 52-year-old female was intoxicated and needs to go to the hospital
  • 2:50 p.m. Controlled fire in 190 block of Meridian Street
  • 3:25 p.m. Officers made extra patrols at Mitchell High School
  • 3:26 p.m. Disabled vehicle on State Road 37, north of Fifth Street
  • 3:27 p.m A person was at the Mitchell Police Department about threats
  • 3:41 p.m. Vehicle fire in the 1900 block of Noe Road. Marion Township VFD responded
  • 4:06 p.m. Report of trespassing at the Mitchell Library. A male has been kicked off the property by staff, but is not leaving
  • 4:14 p.m. Request for animal control to the 930 block of Trinton Circle. A dog was tangled up and is unable to reach shelter fro the sun. The dog also has no food or water. The owner was told to fix the problem. No citation was issued at this time
  • 4:44 p.m. 911 call in the 940 block of Newby Street. It was an accidental call
  • 4:50 p.m. Report of a burglary to a shed in the 610 block of South Mississippi Avenue. Several tools and an air compressor and table saw were stolen
  • 5:05 p.m. Report of trespassing in the 2830 block of State Road 446
  • 5:14 p.m. Warrant service in the 310 block of East Hancock Avenue
  • 5:51 p.m. Report of a disabled vehicle at State Road 37 between 16th and Fifth streets
  • 6:05 p.m. Report of a fire in the 190 block of Meridian Street. It was a controlled fire
  • 6:06 p.m. Report of a man riding a bicycle on the highway south in the northbound lanes of State Road 37. Police say the male was riding safely on the shoulder of the highway and was no problem
  • 6:17 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 2830 block of State Road 446
  • 6:39 p.m. Request for animal control to the 210 block of Patton Hill Road for five small dogs running loose in the road. Animal control was unable to locate the dogs
  • 7:21 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1701 block of Brian Lane Way. A football player took a hard hit and is complaining of back pain and paralysis. Stat Flight was alerted. The child was taken to St. Vincent Dunn Hospital and then flown to Riley Children’s Hospital for treatment
  • 7:39 p.m. Burglary in the 3300 block of Blanton Road. The windows have been broken out of the trailer and unsure what is missing. The owner of the property is in jail. Police say this was a civil matter
  • 7:59 p.m. Follow up investigation in Yockey Estates
  • 8:01 p.m. 911 call in the BNL parking lot. It was an accidental call
  • 8:08 p.m. A resident in the 110 block of Dale Street reported someone attempted to break into her house while she was at work. The door frame is broken and there are scrap marks on the door. Police will make extra patrols
  • 8:09 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 210 block of Art Gallery Road
  • 8:17 p.m. Report of a construction trailer parked in the road in Hillside Estates causing a traffic hazard
  • 8:19 p.m. 911 call in the 960 block of Louie Smith Road. It was a child playing with the phone
  • 8:21 p.m. Report of three juveniles one girl and two boys laying in the middle of the road. The caller says the teens keep doing this. The teens were gone when police arrived
  • 9:12 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and the former Dairy Queen. A citation was issued for speed
  • 10:20 p.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 1150 block of West Warren Street in Mitchell. The male is walking around houses and looking in the windows
  • 10:52 p.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 800 block of Cassidy Lane. The caller someone attempted to break into the home and then ran off into the field behind the house
  • 10:53 p.m. Report of a runaway female juvenile in the 430 block of Old Buddha Road. The teen had run away from a home in Orleans. Orange County Police was alerted. The child was transported to the Orange County line to meet with an Orange County deputy

  • 1:08 a.m. Medical emergency in the 510 block of 16th Street . A male was having trouble breathing
  • 2:54 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols at Lowder Cemetery
  • 4:22 a.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 4180 block of Williams Road. The caller says they woke to someone attempting to get in their bedroom window
