  • 5:26 a.m. Report that the fire at Persimmon Park Apartments may have rekindled. The building is smoking
  • 7:03 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols at Springville Elementary School
  • 7:27 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols at Needmore Elementary School
  • 8:14 a.m. Traffic stop at Tulip Lane and Springville Judah Road
  • 9:07 a.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle in the 7540 block of Bartlettsville Road
  • 9:23 a.m. Report of a juvenile problem in the 3680 block of Boon Hollow Road. The caller says his 11-year-old son ran away. At 9:32 a.m. the child returned home. Officers spoke to the boy about his actions
  • 9:41 a.m. Request for a welfare check in the 2520 block of Meridian Road. A male says a male has been doing work for him and has not showed up in over a week and he left all his tools at the caller’s house. The caller has tried to contact the male by phone but has been unsuccessful
  • 10:35 a.m. 911 call in the 1470 block of Spice Valley Road. It was an accidental call
  • 11:21 a.m. Report of a tree in the roadway in the 1470 block of Spice Valley Road
  • 12:16 p.m. Request for animal control in the 1340 block of Woodferry Road for two dogs being neglected. Animal controls says the dogs had green water and no food and the owners were requested to contact animal control
  • 12:33 p.m. Threats in the 440 block of Peerless Road. The caller says her ex-boyfriend is making threats to kill her and her 3-year-old daughter
  • 12:43 p.m. Traffic stop at Yockey and Meridian Road
  • 1:27 p.m. Agency assist in the 1520 block of Spencer Pike Road to assist the Department of Child Services with moving a child. The grandparents are refusing to let the child go. They were told how to proceed through the court system
  • 1:37 p.m. 911 call in the 800 block of Old State Road 37. A female was confused saying she could not find her sister’s phone number and doesn’t know where she is at. When police arrived family members were at the home
  • 2:24 p.m. Traffic stop at Teke Burton Drive and West Main Street
  • 2:28 p.m. Report of a syringe found in the 4690 block of Old State Road 37 North
  • 3:10 p.m. Traffic stop at North 9th and West Main streets in Mitchell
  • 3:22 p. m. 911 call in the parking lot of IU Health Hospital. Bedford Police was alerted
  • 3:33 p.m. A person was bite by a dog in the 4370 block of State Road 158 and are being treated at IU Health Hospital
  • 3:43 p.m. Report of an erratic driver southbound at State Road 37 and State Road 54 West in a tan GMC SUV. Bedford Police was alerted
  • 3:54 p.m. Report of a sink hole at Williams Dam in front of the dumpsters about 2 feet wide and 8 to 12 feet deep. Barricades have been placed at the site
  • 3:55 p.m. Warrant service in the 400 block of West Warren Street
  • 4:10 p.m. 911 call at the Marathon station on State Road 37. It was an accidental call
  • 4:25 p.m. A person was on station to report of the theft of a license plate in the 360 block of South Leatherwood Road
  • 4:32 p.m. A resident in the 30 block of Sir Williams Driver reported they received a call from the Department of Revenue and gave out sensitive information and now thinks it was a scam
  • 4:45 p.m. 911 call in the 90 block of Northern Hill Drive. It was an accidental call
  • 4:46 p.m. The caller says a male in an older model back Chevrolet pickup with scrap metal in the back and old bikes is driving around the neighborhood in the 1480 block of Stumphole Bridge Road
  • 4:56 p.m. Report of a dead deer along the roadway in the 5680 block of Pinhook Road
  • 5:33 p.m. A male called about a person in a truck with expired license plates hauling a trailer last night in an unsafe manner and the driver continues to drive with expired tags
  • 6 p.m. 911 call at an unknown location. Dispatchers were unable to make contact with the caller
  • 6:18 p.m. Warrant service in the 400 block of West Warren Street
  • 6:56 p.m. Request for animal control on Rainmaker Street for two aggressive boxers running loose
  • 7:02 p.m. 911 call in the 390 block of Hillcrest Way. It was an accidental call
  • 7:18 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Stevens Lane
  • 7:19 p.m. Citizen assist in the 2310 block of I Street. A male was on station to have an officer to assist with an eviction notice. Officers talked to the grandfather of those being evicted and he said they are doing everything they can to get out of the home, but they have no where to go. The owner of the property is giving them until 4 p.m. on Thursday to get all of their items out of the home and will be changing the locks
  • 8 p.m. Traffic stop at McDonald’s
  • 8:07 p.m. A woman called police saying she needs help and needs to talk to someone. While on the phone with the dispatcher a male took the phone from the female and said he was her caretaker and the female is just depressed and upset because she could not go to church. The male says he does not need an officer. Police said the woman was fine and suffers from dementia
  • 8:14 p.m. Request for animal control to the 270 block of Beaver Creek Road. The caller says he has a pit bull on his porch that keeps trying to get into his house. The caller says he thinks the dog belongs to his neighbor but unsure
  • 8:27 p.m. 911 call in an unknown location. Dispatchers were unable to make contact with the caller
  • 8:44 p.m. Request for extra patrols in the 500 block of East Frank Street after a report of a male with no shirt walking around the home. The caller says the property has been abandoned for a while and does not know why the male is there
  • 8:47 p.m. 911 call in the 230 block of Stumphole Bridge Road. It was an accidental dial
  • 9:05 p.m. Domestic fight in the 190 block of Williams Silverville Road
  • 9:22 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37, south of 29th Street. Two people were detained after a K-9 alerted to possible drugs in the vehicle
  • 9:29 p.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle at the Oolitic VFW on Veterans Drive. Police spoke to the bartender at the VFW and no suspicious vehicle was in the lot
  • 10:03 p.m. Request for animal control to the 20 block of Fleetwood Addition. The caller says the neighbor’s dog is running loose. A male knocked on his door and the dog came up and attempted to bite the male. Police could not find the dog and the owner of the dog would not answer the door
  • 10:07 p.m. Report of a protective order violation in the 300 block of North Sixth Street. The caller says a male is walking back and forth in front of the house
  • 10:09 p.m. A male was requesting to speak with an officer about a battery that occurred during the Juggalo event
  • 10:41 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Ingram Road
  • 11:08 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Old State Road 37
  • 11:21 p.m. Traffic stop at Spice Valley Road and State Road 37
  • 11:29 p.m. 911 call in the 3210 block of Washington Avenue. The caller reported their neighbor’s car alarm was sounding. Bedford Police was alerted
