(BRANCHVILLE) – The Indiana Department of Correction Branchville Correctional Facility is hosting a Job Fair to hire correctional officers on Thursday, Sept. 26.
The event will be from 11:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. CST at the Branchville Correctional Facility at 21390 Old State Road 37 in Branchville.
Those applying must be at least 18 years old.
The State of Indiana offers competitive wages with a starting rate of $16 an hour. Benefits include life, health, dental and vision insurance. Officers received paid holiday and vacation time. There is also an excellent retirement plan and tuition reimbursement.
Those attending are asked to bring their high school diploma or GED and valid driver’s license, resume or employment history.
