  • 9:09 p.m. 911 call in the 400 block of Eastview Drive
  • 8:11 p.m. Threats reported in the 1420 block of 8th Street
  • 7:46 p.m. 911 call in the 10 block of P Street
  • 7:39 p.m. Information report was taken in the 1310 block of 22nd Street
  • 7:15 p.m. Officers made extra patrols in the 1310 block of 22nd Street
  • 7:07 p.m. Traffic stop at M and 16th streets
  • 6:35 p.m. Traffic stop at Starbucks Coffee Company on 16th Street
  • 5:50 p.m. Officers were out with a vehicle at O and 16th Street. The driver was issued a summons to appear in court on a driving while driver’s licenses suspended charge
  • 5:32 p.m. A resident in the 1600 block of 14th Street reported smoke was coming from their attic. Bedford Fire Department firefighters responded

  • 10:49 p.m. Report of a runaway in the 1310 block of 25th Street. Police detained a 14-year-old male on charges of illegal consumption and runaway charges
  • 10:17 p.m. Report of a suspicious person at 39th Street and Washington Avenue
  • 10:10 p.m. Information report was taken in the 1810 block of Mitchell Road
  • 10:08 p.m. A wanted female was arrested
  • 9:52 p.m. Alarm sounding at Cambridge Square apartments
  • 9:35 p.m. A transient was on station seeking assistance

  • 3:50 p.m. Property damage accident at 16th and R streets
  • 10:59 a.m. Property damage accident the Goodwill store
  • 6:08 a.m. Accident with possible injuries at H and 16th streets

  • 6 a.m. Michael Vinson, 39, Mitchell, operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction, possession of meth, driving while driver’s license suspended with a prior conviction
  • 12 p.m. Billy Grubb, 41, Bloomington, wanted on a warrant for failure to appear

  • 3 a.m. Jonathan Hattabaugh, 24, Bloomington, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, OWI
  • 3 a.m. Christina Harmon, 34, Bloomington, wanted on a warrant for failure to appear
  • 3 a.m. Cheyanna Griffith, 25, Bloomfield, wanted on a warrant for petition to revoke

Incidents – Sept. 10

  • 5:44 a.m. Request for a welfare check on US 50 East, west of Leesville Road. A young female was walking along the highway carrying her belongings. ISP located the female and gave her a courtesy ride
  • 5:48 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and 35th Street
  • 6:46 a.m. 911 call at an unknown location. It was an accidental call
  • 6:52 a.m. A woman in the 120 block of Dale Street reported he daughter was “jumped” last night behind Terry’s gas station in Mitchell and items were stolen from her
  • 9:01 a.m. Follow up investigation in the 310 block of West Warren Street
  • 9:14 a.m. Citizen assist at US 50 East and State Road 446. A female was given a courtesy ride to the 1410 block of Norman Road
  • 9:20 p.m. Request for animal control to the 760 block of Trinton Circle. The caller says the neighbor’s dogs came on her property and killed her kitten
  • 10:35 a.m. Controlled fire in the 500 block of Peerless Road
  • 10:36 a.m. Request for animal control to the 320 block of Pinewood Drive. The caller reported the neighbor’s dog attacked her small dog
  • 10:40 a.m. Report of a theft of copper from an outdoor air conditioner in the 1130 block of West Main Street in Mitchell. The caller suspects a former tenant took the piping
  • 11:10 a.m. Request for animal control to State Road 37, South of Marion Township Fire Department. An injured deer was in the roadway and needs put down
  • 11:24 a.m. Follow up investigation in the 1130 block of West Main Street

  • 12:42 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a maroon Buick Riviera southbound on State Road 37 between Needmore and Oolitic
  • 12:34 p.m. Request for animal control in the 3440 block of Maul Ridge Road for two pit bulls running loose. The caller is afraid the dogs will attack her baby mules
  • 1:39 p.m. 911 call on Washington Avenue. The caller reports a suspicious male walking down the road who appears to be intoxicated or on drugs
  • 2:59 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 910 block of West Warren Street
  • 3:12 p.m. A resident in the 1240 block of Pumphouse Bridge Road request an officer to check a firearm he purchased to make sure the firearm had no ties to criminal activity. The firearm was stolen out of Auburn and recovered. Auburn police were alerted
  • 3:34 p. m. 911 call at Johnson Christian Village. It was an accidental call
  • 3:42 p.m. 911 call in the 6770 block of Suddarth Lane. It was a pocket dial
  • 4:42 p.m. Domestic fight in the 50 block of Knob Creek Road. The caller says her boyfriend is not allowing her to leave with her 3-month-old baby. The male had left before ISP troopers arrived
  • 5 p.m. A message was delivered in the 3890 block of South I Street. The woman was at work at Aldi’s. Officer went there to give her the message
  • 5:01 p.m. A resident in the 470 block of Patton Hill Road reported someone threw several nails in her driveway
  • 5:03 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a female in the 430 block of West Warren Street
  • 5:08 p.m. Report of an erratic driver at State Road 37 and Old State Road 37
  • 5:39 p.m. Domestic fight in the 50 block of Knob Creek Road. A male returned to the home. ISP troopers responded
  • 6:01 p.m. Request for animal control to the 3480 block of Maul Ridge Road. The caller says the neighbor’s two pit bulls are running loose and chasing cars and she is afraid they will kill her baby donkey
  • 6:12 p.m. Report of a juvenile problem in the 3610 block of Vincennes Road. Department of Child Services and Juvenile Probation was contacted
  • 6:27 p.m. A resident in the 470 block of Patton Hill Road reported she had captured video of someone dumping nails in her driveway and request to speak to an officer. Deputies will make extra patrols
  • 6:27 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a gold Chevrolet Impala or Malibu northbound in the 1050 block of State Road 37
  • 6:18 p.m. Deputies made extra patrols in the 470 block of Patton Hill Road
  • 7:02 p.m. A resident in the 160 block of Dale Street reported a female was threatening him
  • 7:03 p.m. Report that possible remains were found in a shed on Fayetteville Owens Road
  • 7:12 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 900 block of South Sandstone Road. It was a false alarm
  • 7:13 p.m. Controlled fire in the 3100 block of Rager Road
  • 7:17 p.m. 911 call at Mitchell Jr. High School. It was a pocket dial
  • 7:43 p.m. 911 call on US 50 in Orange County. It was a pocket dial
  • 7:57 p.m. Controlled fire in the 2110 block of State Road 60 East
  • 8:15 p.m. The caller says he and an elderly female had gone to the 570 block of State Road 60 East to see a relative and a male pulled a gun on the elderly female and told her to get off his property
  • 8:40 p.m. Report of an erratic female driver in a blue Toyota Yaris at Dixie Highway and Fortner Lane. Police were unable to locate the vehicle
  • 8:52 p.m. Request for extra patrols in the 2010 block of Blue Springs Cavern Road. The caller says a male in a silver car with Tennessee plates is showing up at the house at 9 p.m. attempting to sell insurance
  • 9:01 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37, north of Oolitic
  • 9:03 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a 15-year-old male at US 50 East and Stars Boulevard. A 15-year-old male stepped out of a vehicle and is walking westbound with a backpack. The male is having girl issues
  • 9:29 p.m. Report of a traffic hazard at Old Vincennes Road at Huron Railroad Street. Someone is town a full-size mobile home down the road with no lights or flaggers
  • 9:30 p.m. Officers made extra patrols in the 300 block of North Sixth Street in Mitchell
  • 9:36 p.m. Disabled vehicle at US 50 East and Glenview Estates
  • 11:30 p.m. Traffic stop at North 4th and East Main streets in Mitchell
