AG Curtis Hill Hosts Crime Prevention Forums in Lake and Tippecanoe Counties

(UNDATED) – Attorney General Curtis Hill today hosted crime prevention forums in Merrillville and Lafayette as part of a listening tour that involves visiting 14 cities across the state of Indiana.

The purpose of the tour is to facilitate conversations aimed at developing solutions to residents’ crime-related concerns. Merrillville and Lafayette are the fifth and sixth stops on the listening tour with the next stop planned to take place in Bloomington.

“We are one state, but every area of the state has its own unique set of challenges,” Attorney General Hill said. “Not everyone can make their way to Central Indiana to talk about what they’re seeing in their corner of the state, and that is why we are bringing this forum to these various communities.”

The Office of the Attorney General will collect feedback at each forum and present findings at the office’s 10th Annual Drug Abuse Symposium on Oct. 29-30.
