(BLOOMINGTON) – Nationally recognized cemetery restoration specialist Jason Church will present a program on Friday evening at the Monroe County History Center from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday in Rose Hill Cemetery from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. about cemetery surveys, documentation, headstone cleaning, cemetery safety, resetting headstones and preserving wrought iron fencing.
The event is free to attend and is a part of Indiana Archaeology Month. Those attending are asked to RSVP.
During September, organizations around the state celebrate archaeology by hosting events where individuals can learn more about the archaeology field and the past.
